Shared Education – Shared Future

Dear Parents/Guardians, Once again we the Board of Governors are pleased to present our annual general report for the academic year of 2010/2011 and hope you will continue to support our wonderful school in every way possible for many years to come. This report refers to the seventh year of Roe Valley Integrated Primary School with an intake of 156 pupils that year. We continue to be the fastest growing primary school in Limavady. We as Governors have an ongoing commitment to maintain and raise the standards of our pupils, empowering children to achieve their true potential. This is both the responsibility of the school and you the parent/guardian, therefore we value your support and welcome your views and ideas on how best to develop our school. I would like to extent my gratitude to our Principal, Anne Quinn and all staff for their commitment in supporting the school’s strategic plan and continuing to work on whole school improvements. I always say that the quality of an education system cannot exceed the quality of its teachers and support staff. I wish to express my deep gratitude to all staff at the school for providing the highest quality of Education to our students. From the front office, to the classrooms and into the specialist areas, you are all a pleasure to work with and are outstanding people – Thank You! I would also like to thank each member of the school Board of Governors for the support and trust you have placed in me. The time given to the school is greatly appreciated and ensures the school continues to thrive. I wish to conclude by thanking each of you for the support you have given me throughout the year and we look forward to another successful year in 2011/2012.

Yours sincerely Paul Canning Chairperson, Board of Governors Roe Valley Integrated Primary School
