Cheer & Pom /Competition News

Competition “order of performance” will be available this weekend….We are looking for Sunday football

players to be available to escort our cheer teams to the mats on the Saturday, October 4 competition. Please

reach out to Cindi Rodriguez if you have an athlete who can help.

This year we will be hosting our cheer & poms competition at Grayslake North High School on Saturday, October 4. As with the football games and any competition, lots of assistance is needed to pull this together. As such, we have created a Volunteer Spot sign up specific for the competition day as well as the night before to precipitate the set up. We have both 2 hour shifts and 4 hour shifts available. If you have the ability to work more than a single shift or want to be a “Super-Colt” with all day availability, please sign up for your initial preferred shift and then email us direct at coltssignup@grayslakecolts.org with your additional availability. To assist with the sign up process, if your son or daughter is participating in the competition, here are some basic guide lines for scheduling:

Cheer Teams grades K through 3rd: Please schedule your volunteer times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM or after 2:00 PM.

Cheer Teams grades 4th through 8th: Please schedule your volunteer times between 6:00 AM & 12:00 Noon.

Pom Teams: Please schedule your volunteer times for any time after 12:00 Noon.

Charity Mania Turn-In / Field Concession Sign-Up/ Wearables

Charity Mania money can still be turned in on any Home Game days at the field. Any tickets turned in this

week would not be eligible for week 1 – 3 of play.

We have hats, mittens, pullovers, umbrellas, blankets – all your fall wearable items are available at concessions

on Saturdays at Aquatic and Sunday’s at Central.
