9th edition of the Latin American and Caribbean Carbon Forum

With only a few months away from the Paris conference, the 2015 Latin American and Caribbean Carbon Forum (LACCF) will provide a unique platform for participants to discuss regional options, potential pace; the associ-

ated challenges and the enabling policy conditions that would be required to move towards carbon neutral economies in the LAC region.

The 9th edition of the LACCF aims at facilitating discussions, knowledge exchange and experience sharing on policies and measures; tools and methodologies; technologies and financial mechanisms necessary for putting

forward and implement robust and ambitious Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs) to the global effort of keeping global temperatures below 2oC. Moreover, the LACCF will provide a platform for sharing experiences and best practices from the implementation of climate policies and actions, such as NAMAs while

exploring ways of achieving efficiency in climate action through integration of different support mechanisms that are available or being designed.

A comprehensive and substantive conference program structured in plenaries, parallel thematic streams and training sessions will provide the space for learning while the exhibition part of the LACCF will provide opportuni-

ties to network and reach out to supporting agencies, cooperation organizations, potential investors and service providers.

Don’t miss this chance to contribute and participate in this important event for the LAC region.
