Steven Swain, M.D., Family Medicine Board certified family medicine physician Steven Swain, M.D., is practicing at two SRMC Primary Care locations in Salem and Damascus. He joins Dr. Stephanie Raynish at SRMC Primary Care-Salem; and Gabrielle Dickerhoof, MSN, APRN, CN-P; at SRMC Primary Care-Damascus. Education & Training: Dr. Swain earned his B.S. degree in Biology from Youngstown State University, followed by a medical degree from Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He then completed his residency training in family medicine at Forum Health Northside Hospital. Dr. Swain has been in private practice in the Mahoning Valley for over 15 years, prior to joining the SRMC medical staff. Dr. Demas joins an elite group of just 19 physicians and medical physicists who were recognized this year for their far-reaching contributions to the field of radiation oncology and their progress in advancing cancer research, education and patient care. Michael Sevilla, M.D., FAAFP, Family Medicine, was inducted as the 73rd President of the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP). The OAFP is a statewide, professional association with more than 5,200 members, and Dr. Sevilla has held numerous leadership positions in the organization since joining in 2001. Radiologist Marcus Julius, M.D., was selected as the Northeast Ohio Medical University’s faculty recipient of the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award. This honor recognizes a faculty member who best demonstrates outstanding compassion in the delivery of care, respect for patients, their families and healthcare colleagues; as well as demonstrates clinical excellence. Alissa JordanDirector of ComplianceAlissa Jordan has joined SRMC as the Director of Compliance. A licensed attorney, she has a strong background as a compliance and ethics professional within the health care industry, having implemented legislation in large insurance companies and compliance programs for health care organizations.

Prior to earning her Juris Doctorate degree from Duquesne University, Alissa received a Master’s in Health Administration from Youngstown State University and Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State. A Western Pennsylvania native, she enjoys traveling and has two children- a son who is a Submariner in the U.S. Navy and a 12-year-old daughter. Alissa can be reached at ext. 7855.

Traveling Food PantrySRMC partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley to distribute nearly 20,000 pounds of food to more than 200 residents.

Kelly Provencher, BSN, RNAssistant Director ICU/Tower 1Kelly Provencher, BSN, RN, was named the Assistant Director of ICU/Tower 1. Kelly has worked as an RN since 1992, with a clinical background in the ICU and Emergency Departments, where she has held roles as a staff nurse, Clinical Manager ICU, Director ICU and Clinical Manager of Emergency Services.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ursuline College. Originally from Cleveland, she moved to Western Pennsylvania six years ago with her husband to their family farm. Kelly enjoys spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She can be reached at ext. 7104.
