Sept. 17, Riverside Art & Music FestivalEnjoy exhibits, interactive demonstrations, and performances at the region’s largest fundraiser in support of the arts. Sept. 3, Music in the Mountains: Marshall Tucker BandCome to the mountains for an evening with the Marshall Tucker Band. MTB got its start in Spartanburg, SC, borrowing the name “Marshall Tucker” from a piano tuner whose name was found on a key ring in their old rehearsal space. The MTB opened shows for The Allman Brothers in 1973, and the following year, they began to headline their own shows across America.
