We wanted to find good things that happened from a tragedy. Although September 11 was a horrific event some heroic acts of goodness and bravery turned a tragedy into a lesson for hope.

“As soon as I heard about the trip I immediately thought of how many people helped me when I lost my dad,” Cherilyn said. “I have friends in New Orleans. I thought of them. I thought it was a great opportunity to help them get back on their feet.”

Tuesdays Children Today
Tuesday’s children is now working on programs to help the rescue and recovery workers and first responders on 9/11.
