Possible answers: Agree: Quebec is culturally different from the rest of Canada. It has a different language and different customs. On its own it would not have to be taxed for services provided by the national government to other parts of Canada. Disagree: Quebec is important to the Canadian economy. Its French language and culture can be protected without secession. Just as the United States is home to many cultures, so can Canada continue to include its French-speaking population.
