The MTC 42” x 10ft x 1440psi well test separator is a three-phase horizontal design packaged into a CSC & DNV 2.7-1 skid and crash frame for offshore type applications. The horizontal design enables efficient 3 phase separation of the well effluent into the Gas, Oil and Water phases for accurate measurement of each phase by industry standard metering devices installed on each of the Gas, Oil and Water outlet lines. The phases are then normally either disposed of by independent burning and flaring or re-combined and re-injected into a production line or stored for further processing or future disposal. Separator vessel has been sized and designed for maximum flexibility to enable operation over a wide range of flowing conditions, flow rates and of fluid types for optimized separation which is achieved by controlling the vessel pressure and Oil, Water levels within the vessel. The vessel internals made up of Inlet vane type diverter, baffle plates, vane type coalescer-defoamer packs and mesh type demister pad have been designed to maximize the efficiency of separation over the optimum range of operation. The vessel is protected from overpressure by two independent calibrated pressure safety valves connected to a common outlet line for disposal of the vented fluids to a safe area.

• Bypass manifold from inlet to gas, oil and water outlets with 3” full bore isolation valves.• Vessel inlet nozzle fitted with 3” wafer type check valve.• Vessel internals designed to be installed / removed through manway.• Vessel internally coated with Belzona 1391 for extended vessel life.• Configured for addition of oil level controller with internal displacer.• Configured for data acquisition system on inlet, vessel and gas, oil and water outlet lines.• Configured for addition of Hi-Lo pressure and level alarms / shutdown system on vessel.• Supplied with 2 x 4ft Zone I fluorescent light units with 50 meters of power supply cable.
