As you open SEO Elite v4.0 you’ll be presented with a window like above.Follow the steps below to start your backlink analysis.

Step1: Select the project from the drop down menu, by default the firstproject is selected for you – “Analyze backlinks using a specified searchengine”.

Step 2: Enter the domain name you would like to analyze. Simply enter the“name” which SEO Elite v4.0 asks for. You can enter the domain in theformat of www.seoelite.com, http://www.seoelite.com or seoelite.com

Step 3: Use the slide bar to scroll to the left or the right. This will set SEOElite v4.0 to return that many sites, assuming all are found via the SearchEngine you choose to perform your analysis from. The maximum setting is1000, with the minimum being 10. If you know your site has many backlinks,setting to 1000 will take longer to process, as there is a lot of data to beanalyzed.

Step 4: Select the Search Engines you would like to use: Google, Yahoo!AltaVista, AllTheWeb, and MSN to perform your analysis from. The moreSearch Engines you use, the longer it will take SEO Elite v4.0 will take toreturn the results, but the larger list of data you will get to analyze.

Step 5: Enter the URL’s you would like SEO Elite v4.0 to skip. If you wouldlike to enter more than one URL, enter them by separating them with aspace, rather than a comma or a semi-colon. Alternatively, you can use the

button. and a box will pop up where you can enter the URL’s youwould like to skip. Place each URL on a new line.

Step 6: Return sites that only contain specific keywords. If you would liketo perform a function where you would like to know which sites containthe keywords you are searching for, then enter them here. Generally thissection can be left blank so you can see a larger picture of how yourwebsite, or another is performing for a specific keyword. Ensure you

separate each keyword with a comma, or alternatively use the buttonand enter your keywords on each line.

Step 7: Show special criteria on the report tab. Choose from thefollowing:

- Alexa Rank:This will show the Alexa rank of each website in the list.

- Google PR:This shows the page rank of the website.

- Website age:This lets you know how long the site has been online.

- Show unique results: If you select multiple search engines from step 4,you may want to check this option. Each search engine will display differentwebsites, AND may also display some of the same websites in the backlinklist. By checking this option, SEO Elite v4.0 will only return 1 instance of awebsite in the report view.

- Whois information:This will allow you to see who owns a specificdomain and how you can contact them.

- Show unique IP’s:This will only bring back websites that have a uniqueIP Address. If a website has many pages listed in the link results, then onlyone web page will appear in the report view IF this option is checked.

- Skip all onpage links: If you do not want to analyze the pages withinyour own website, that link to the webpage on your site that you areanalyzing, then check this option. It will allow you to only analyze the linksfrom other websites.

Click “OK” to start the analysis

SEO Elite v4.0 will start the process of analyzing the backlinks of eachwebsite found in the Search Engine you selected in Step 4. For the purposeof this manual I’ve chosen to have the software pull 80 results out fromGoogle.

At any time you can click the report view tab, located in the middle of thethree tabs located at the top right hand side of SEO Elite to view the datathat SEO Elite has gathered about the website(s) you have chosen toanalyze.

Each column can be arranged in ascending or descending order simply byclicking on the header column. In the above example I’ve selected the“Alexa Rank”.

The far left column indicates which Search engine the results were found.

Page with link: by clicking the web address you’ll be taken to the pageitself where you can find the link to the website you are analyzing.

Page PR: shows the Google Page Rank of the page with link.

Alexa Rank: shows the Website’s traffic ranking determined by Alexa.comout of all the websites on the internet.This is very handy when you want tofind backlink partners or article trades on high traffic Websites.

IP Address: Clicking on the IP address will also take you to the WebsitePage as that with the link in the “Page with Link” section.

Has Backlink: Indicates whether or not the webpage in the “page withlink” column still has a link pointing to your website.

Page Title:The title of the Web page located in the “page with link”column. This is very important when you want to rank for a particularkeyword phrase. You should try to acquire links from pages that containyour main keyword in their page title.

Anchor text:This shows what words are used as the clickable text linkingto your website. Again this is very important for the keyword phrases youwant to rank for.

Outbound links:The number of links pointing to other Websites from theWeb page located in the “page with link” column. The fewer links it has onthe Web page linking to other sites or pages, the more PR value is passedon.

Total links:The total number of links located on the web page located inthe “page with link” column.

Whois: clicking “Show” will present a pop up box with the whoisinformation of the Website owner. This can come in handy when you wantto contact the Web master for a backlink, joint venture, or an article trade.

Website age: shows when the domain was created. Website age is veryimportant when searching for quality link partners. In general, the older thewebsite is, the better the link will be.

The image below shows a break down of the domain’s extension.

Keyword:The keyword column, allows you to add keywords by clicking“Add Keywords”. I’ve entered “Diet” and “weight loss” for this example.

# anchor found: shows the total number AND the percentage of timesthat the specified keyword is found in the anchor text of all of the linksbeing analyzed. You can click on the keyword and it will highlight eachinstance of the keyword in the top frame. This comes in VERY handy.

Domain:The first column shows the type of extensions the websites youare being linked from.

Total (%): A rough estimate of what your average PR is from link partners,indicated by the “Avg” row, and the percentage of total links containing thespecified Page Rank.

Analysis View

The “Analysis View” helps you really analyze why your competitors areranking higher than you in the search engines.

To add your keywords, click “Add Keywords” button on the far right. A boxwill appear as shown above.If you want to remove any keywords, click the keyword / phrase in the“Word” column and click “Remove Selected”.

There are two frames within the analysis view.

1. Top frame 2. Bottom frame

Top frame:The top frame consists of 4 columns.

�Word� Body�Title� Anchor

Word:These are the major keywords used either on the page where yourlinks are located OR in the anchor text of the links pointing to yourWebsite.

Body:The percentage of times the keyword in the “Word” column appearswithin the body text of the page your links are located on. The number inthe parenthesis is the actual number of times that keyword was found.

Title:The percentage of times the keyword in the “Word” column appearswithin the page title of the page your links are located on. The number inthe parenthesis is the actual number of times that keyword was found.

Anchor:The percentage of times the keyword in the “Word” columnappears within the anchor text of the links pointing to your website. Thenumber in the parenthesis is the actual number of times that keyword wasfound.

Bottom frame:The bottom frame allows you to analyze many thingsabout the MAIN Website entered into step 2 on the new project screen.This frame consists of 14 sections, which include the following:

Word, Density, Prominence, Link Density, Link Prominence, H1, H2, MetaKeyword, Internal Links, External Links, In Yahoo, In DMOZ, Website Age.

Word:You may analyze a specific keyword by clicking on the “addkeywords…“ button located on the right.

Density: Shows the keyword density of the specified keyword. Forexample, if there were 100 total words on the website you are analyzing,and 5 of those 100 words were the specific keyword you entered, then thekeyword density would be 5% (5/100).

Prominence: Shows you how close to the beginning of the web page, thespecified keyword is located.

Link Density: Shows you similar information as the “density” column, butonly calculates this for all links on the web page.

Link Prominence: Shows you similar information as the “Link Density“column, but only calculates this for all links on the web page.

H1: Shows you the percentage of times the specified keyword appearswithin the <h1> header tags on the web page.

H2: Shows you the percentage of times the specified keyword appearswithin the <h2> header tags on the web page.

Meta Keyword: Shows you the percentage of times the specified keywordappears in the <meta keyword> tags on the web page.

Internal Links: Shows you the total number of links on the web page thatpoint to only inner pages within the Website itself.

External Links: Shows you the total number of links on the web pagethat point to only links outside of the Website itself.

In Yahoo: Shows you whether or not the website has been submitted tothe Yahoo Directory.

In Wikipedia: Shows you whether or not the website is located withinWikipedia.com

In Dmoz: Shows you whether or not the website has been submitted tothe DMOZ Directory.

Website Age: Shows you the date that the website was first created.

In the main window select Project 2 from the drop down box in Step 1“Get links to your Website (NEW)”.

In Step 2, if you do not have a project created you can create one here byclicking “Create New Project” button as shown below. Type the file nameand click “Save”. A new window will appear asking you to type in theproject name. Again, here, type for example “seo” and click “OK”.

Once you’ve saved your project, you’ll be taken to the setup window asshown below.

Edit Project Info

To fully set up Project two, click on the button located on the right handside “Edit Project Info”. You’ll be presented with a window like below:

As you can see this section looks similar to your Outlook Express sendmail options.

Towards the bottom, you have a section for “Link Directories Options”. Fillin all the necessary information in this section pertaining to your Website,and supply the location of your links pages so the link partners links can beuploaded to it later. This information is used when you use SEO Elite to findand submit your website to other website’s link directories. Thisinformation must be filled in when searching for link directories, or SEOElite will constantly popup a window asking you to enter this information.

Then Click “O.K”

Note: some webhosts require you to use port 26 for your email to workcorrectly. Try port 26 ONLY if port 25 doesn’t work for you. If neitherworks contact your Web host.

Edit Categories:

This section allows you to create the Category sections and Sub Categorysections.

Once you’ve entered the “Category Title”, the file name will automaticallybe filled in for you. So if you typed in“Search Engine Optimization”. SEO Elite V4.0 will automatically type in thefile name as you type and it’ll look like this:search_engine_optimization however, you can edit this to make the filename look how you wish, if you do not want to use underscores in the filename, you can simply replace them with a hyphen if you prefer.

After you’ve entered the details for the Category “Category Title”, the “FileName” will automatically be filled in. This is where you can edit out theunderscores and replace them with the hyphens mentioned earlier.

To add a Sub Category click the button “Add Sub Category”. Click “OK”and you’ll see the new Sub-category added under the main category, andindented so you can see which sub categories you have. Remember though

if you used hyphens for the “Category Title”; use the same too for the Sub-categories to keep everything nice and neat, not necessarily needed, but it’sgood to keep everything uniformed. Once you’re done there, click OK toreturn to the main window.

Add Websites:

If you have ever found it really hard to find one way or two way links,you’re troubles are now over. On a personal note, using the link submissionfeature has helped my sites get from PR0 to PR7 before the next GoogleUpdate. This is rare, but can happen if you choose your sites correctly.You’re not limited to just adding your domain URL, you can do deep linkingwith these directories as well.

This section allows you to do the following:

� Find High Page Rank Websites using a Keyword

� Find High Page Rank Websites using a competitor’s Website

� Find link directories using a keyword

� Copy the links on an existing links page

� Manually enter links

Step 1 is broken down into several sections. Let’s start with: Find HighPage Rank Websites using a Keyword. To do this, we select the radiobutton beside the description, and then click NEXT.

Step 2, we’re presented with a window like below.

Enter the keyword or keyword phrase you would like to use – if you find itdifficult to come up with unique keywords, use project 1 within KeywordElite ( http://www.keywordelite.com). If you want to add more than oneKeyword in Step 2, separate them by using a comma, alternatively, click the

button and add your keywords on each new line.

Step 3, click the search engines you want to use. Choose from Google,Yahoo!, Altavista, AllTheWeb, and MSN.

Step 4, use the slider bar to set the max number of results you would likereturned. Then click NEXT.

If you want to email the rest at a later time, simply re-open the project andrun it again, but this time move the slide bar further to the right and it willmake more of the results available to you.

Once you have clicked NEXT, you’ll be taken to Step 5 which will openanother window as shown below.

1. Use the slide bar to choose the domain’s Page Rank you would likereturned.

2. Use the slide bar to choose the Websites with high traffic or all siteswith any kind of traffic. Note: be careful here when it comes to emailingWeb masters, some of the Websites returned are places like Microsoft,Google, AOL, etc. due to the high traffic they receive. You can remove theseif you wish by right clicking the results row of the high traffic site.

3. Enter your keyword(s) here of the Websites you would like returned that

only contain those keywords. Separate each with a comma or use thebutton to add more on each new line.

4. If you know of any URL’s you want the software to skip, enter them

here, again you can use the button to add these URL’s on each newline

5. Skip the email address you know of here, if there’s more than one use

the button to add more on each new line.

And check or leave the box unchecked “Show only unique emails”.

Then click “DONE”. SEO Elite v4.0 will get to work. Below shows theprogress window. Try right clicking any of the rows, and more options willappear. You can “Select all”, “Delete all”, or mass add websites intocategories as well – A real time saver!

Once it has finished, you can start entering each Website into the categoryand sub-categories you created in an earlier step you performed before. Todo this, you can either click “Email Campaign” in the “Link Type” columnnext to the Website you would like to Email or add a link to your WebDirectory.

Edit Link Properties

Below shows you an example of this window when the “Email Campaign” isclicked on, or when a row is clicked followed by clicking “Edit Website”. Oreven if you double click the row.

Don’t worry if you see more than one email address there, these emailaddresses are taken from several sources, i.e., whois information, the emailaddresses found on the website itself. Make absolutely certain you have theright email address by visiting that website and see if you can locate theemail address there also.

Click the Drop down box next to “Email Address” and choose one of the“Guessed Addresses”. Alternatively you can add an email address that youare sure of that will reach the Web master.

Below shows the Category drop down box. Select the appropriate categoryor sub-category you would like this Website to be added to.At any point,you can add this Website to another category, or Sub-category, click “<editcategories>” from the drop down menu.

You can also edit the “Link Anchor” text here, or add a “Link Description”of the Website or even edit the “Email Name”. It’s advised that you edit theEmail Name when using the Email template. So take some time to find thename of the Web master. If you can’t find any name, enter something like:“Dear Sir/Ma’am”.

Emailer

Once you’ve configured each site’s category placement and email address,you can begin setting up your Email Template ready to send emails out toall the Web Masters. Be cautious here; try not to send out loads of emailsat the same time, it could result having your ISP banning you. Or havingyour Website suspended. It’s advised that you write a separate emailfor each Web master so it’s as customized as possible, or some Webmasters will simply ignore you, or worse yet, turn you in for spam. Althoughthis process takes a little longer, the results are much better.

Once you’ve created your email template. Click the button “Save” andenter a file name. This will save the email template in a text note pad. Youcan return to this template by clicking the button “Load” and select it fromthe location you previously saved it to.

Again, it’s best to stay away from generic link request emails these days. Trybeing unique and answering the question of “What’s in it for me”, where“me” is the person you’re emailing. The more you can help them, thegreater chance they’ll want to help you. Be creative.

There are several variables you can add to the template by clicking thebutton “Insert variables”. This will provide you with a list of the following:

[email_name]This shows the name that was entered by you in the email you send toWeb masters or the default value that SEO Elite v4.0 adds to the section of“Email Name” via the “Edit Link properties”.

[site_url]This is your website address

[category]This is the category in which you’ve elected the Web address to reside in.

[final_url]This is your website address also, but contains a forward slash.

There are also other variables too. If you use the colon symbol : you’ll seea list of other variables to use.

NOTE: Ensure that there are two colons before and after the variables, or

they will not show up properly in the email.

::CONTACT_NAME::Your name

::CONTACT_EMAIL::Your email address

::SITE_URL::Your Website address

::LOCAL_LINK_DIRECTORY::Your link directory URL

::LOCAL_LINK_LOCATION::Where the Web masters link can be found

::LOCAL_CATEGORY::The category the Web masters link has been added to.

Creating links pages

Before you send out your emails, create the links pages first then upload toyour domain.

Click the button “Create links pages” located at the bottom right. A boxwill appear as shown below.

Here you have a choice of a single page layout, one page per categorylayout, one page per sub category layout, or you can add to an existing linkpage(s). In the example above, I’ve chosen single page layout. Just above theCancel button you can see how many links are in how many categories.Click NEXT once you’re ready.

The above picture shows the next window after we clicked “Next”. Hereyou need to add the output directory path. This is where all the links pages

will go to. Simply click the button and find a suitable location to storethese pages to.

Final Page HTML template:

By default, the “blank page template” is selected. Personally, I would spendthe time to make these link pages look just like the theme of your Website.

To do this, select “User supplied Template” and click the button andpoint it to the template you want SEO Elite v4.0 to use. Make sure that youuse #table# variable in the body of the template where the text/links willappear. If you do not do this no links will appear.Don’t forget to savethe template first once you have made these changes. Click “Next” onceyou’ve completed this step.

Here you can start styling your cascading style sheets and add other stylesto your pages. Click next and SEO Elite v4.0 will go to work and add thelinks to a blank page or the template you provided.

Click “Finish” to return to the main screen for project 2.

Find High Page Rank Websites using a Competitor

Once we’ve sent out all our emails, we can go one more step further tofind even more potential link partners. Remember, SEO isn’t just aboutgetting any ole link. It’s about reverse engineering your competitors andtheir link partners and copy what they are doing. Many of the top rankedwebsites are there by sheer luck and the high PR websites linking to them.Once we obtain links from these people, we can nip in front of them in theSearch Engines by adding some of the tricks we’ve learned to takeadvantage of their lack of SEO knowledge. If you need assistance with anySEO, ask your question on the forum and someone will help you. J

Step 1: Click “Add Websites” a box like this will appear like before. Selectthe second one from the menu below and click NEXT.

Enter the Web address and the search engines you would like to search inand return the result set back.

Step 2: In this example, I went to Google and entered “Search EngineOptimization” and the above Website was ranked no1.

Step 3:We select the search engines we would like to have analyze thebacklinks of our competitor.

Step 4: Select how many results we would like to get back. Note, it willonly return the amount it finds, not the amount you select, so if you select100, and it only finds 50, that’s all it’s going to return, naturally of course. J

Click NEXT.

As before, we’re presented with this window again. Click “DONE” afteryou’ve filled in the necessary sections. You can leave these blank if you wish.

Find Link Directories using a Keyword

Step 1: click “Add Websites” again, and a box like below will appear asbefore. Select the 3rd section and click NEXT.

Step 2: type in the keyword or add more by separating them with a

comma or use the button to add your keywords and or phrases hereon a new line.

Step 3: choose the Search Engines to find the results from.

Step 4: choose how many results should be returned, then click NEXT.

As you’ll notice, the same kind of window appears each time shown below.

Fill in the details and click DONE. SEO Elite v4.0 will now find all the linkdirectories for you. In order for this section to work, you’ll need to ensurethe details via this section below are filled in, which can be achieved viaclicking the “Edit Project Info” button. Simply fill in the “Link DirectoriesOptions” in the lower half of this window.

Once SEO Elite v4.0 completes its findings, click on “Link Submitter”located at the bottom of the screen. It’s one of the 3 tabs shown: ThreadsView, Emailer, and “Link Submitter”.

Note that the column at the top highlighted in Blue, has a “Link Type” valueof “Link Directory”. Assuming you have the “Link Submitter” tab selected asseen above, click on a Link Directory Type column, it will load the WebDirectories Website into the window as shown above. If you selected“Thread View” you will not be able to load this window and it will defaultto the Email template.

Follow the Web Directory information and click their Submit button onceyou’re happy with the category you want your site to go into and move onto the next “Link Directory” in the list.

Copy the links on an existing links page

Click “Add Websites” button and you’ll be presented with this windowagain. Select the 4th section from Step 1 and click Next.

Let’s suppose you find sites that you know of are linking to other sites andthey are linking back to them. Here we can pull all of the links off their siteand start contacting them via email.

Below shows an image of the process window after you’ve clicked next andentered the desired Websites you would like to analyze.

Once SEO Elite v4.0 finishes, you can start prepare to add these sites intothe categories or sub-categories of your choice.

We can either edit the Website here, Update PR, Update Alexa rank, MoveWebsites to category, Create links pages, Select all, or Delete selected.Click “delete selected” to remove google.com from the list.

Manually enter links

This section simply allows you to add any link, anchor text, and description,while adding the site to a preferred category or sub category.

Click Next and you’ll be presented with this screen below.

Fill in the details above, and click OK. If you want to add more links afterthis one, check the box “Continue Adding Links”, then click OK. Onceyou’ve clicked OK assuming you do not want to add any more links, you’llbe taken to the main results window. Locate the column “Source” and you’llsee which method was used, in this case, it’ll say, “manual”.

In project 3 we can start analyzing websites for the AllinAnchor (the linktext), or AllInTitle (the title text), or AllinText (the text on their Website).

Select either allinanchor: , allintitle:, or allintext from Step 2.

In Step 3 enter the keyword, or keyword phrase you would like to analyze.

In Step 4 use the slide bar to return how many sites you would like to view.

Then click “OK”

Threads View

Once you click OK, SEO Elite v4.0 will get to work and return the sites forthe keyword phrase you entered into Step 3. In this example I’ve chosen:weight loss.

Report View

This section is divides into two windows. The left window is natural resultsfrom Google for the search phrase: weight loss. The right window is asearch engine function using the allinanchor, i.e., allinachor:weightloss.

To help make things easily visible, click the Page PR column’s row, and you’llsee a site highlighted like above, and the left and right window will showyou where the site ranks for the natural search, and the search enginefunction allinanchor:

This is beneficial because if a website is ranked #2 on Google for “weightloss”, and ranks #8 for allinanchor: search, then this is a Website that mightappear to be getting their high ranking from something other than theiranchor text... So, then you might do an allintitle: search to see if that mightbe why they’re ranking highly OR you’d look at specifically which Websitestheir links are on or you’d look at their onpage optimization.

Allinanchor search ranks ofWebsites are in order from those that have“the most” links containing the keyword in the anchor text.

So... if they rank low for allinanchor, but high in the regular search, thisprobably means they have a lower total number of links, but maybe highquality links instead.

This project type will help you monitor whether or not your link partnershave removed your link from their website. If they have, you can eithercontact them and ask them to re-add your link OR you can simply removetheir link from your website, as linking to many website that don’t link backto you will only drain your Page Rank, and “may” lower your ranking.

Step 1. Select Project 4 from the drop down menuStep 2. Enter the full URL of the links page you would like to analyze onyour WebsiteStep 3. Use the slide bar to instruct SEO Elite v4.0 to dig down up to 4levels. These four levels are the folders, i.e.,site.com/level1folder/level2folder/level3folder/level4folder/links.htm Step 4. Here’s one of my smaller links pages that I’ve neglected to update, as youcan see, SEO Elite has found information that normally a Web master willnot find manually, or in the time that SEO Elite v4.0 finds the returningresults.

- Link Partner URL: The website on your Website- Link Partner IP: The IP address of your link partner- Links back: The white box depicts if it’s linking back to you, if it is, thewhite box will appear.- Links back from: The location of the Web partners URL where yourlink is found- Page Title: The Page title of where your link, links back from- Anchor Text: The Anchor text of your link on their Web page- Page Rank: The page rank of the Website you are being linked from- Last Indexed: When the last time the search engine indexed the page- Alexa Rank: The traffic rank of the Website- Outbound links: The number of links pointing to other Websites fromthe Web page your link is on

- Total links: The total links on the Website- Local Anchor Text: The anchor text of the link on your Website linkingto them- Local links page: Where your page is that links to them- Whois: the Whois register information of the Website

�� Bottom SectionThe first column lists the keywords used, and the second lists the totalpercentage of how many times the word is found on the page.

Analysis View

Word: These are the major keywords used either on the page where yourlinks are located OR in the anchor text of the links pointing to yourwebsite.

Body:The percentage of times the keyword in the “Word” column appearswithin the body text of the page your links are located on. The number inthe parenthesis is the actual number of times that keyword was found.

Title:The percentage of times the keyword in the “Word” column appearswithin the page title of the page your links are located on. The number inthe parenthesis is the actual number of times that keyword was found.

Anchor:The percentage of times the keyword in the “Word” columnappears within the anchor text of the links pointing to your website. Thenumber in the parenthesis is the actual number of times that keyword wasfound.

This project will help you monitor where your website ranks in all of themajor search engines.

Select Project 5 from the Drop down menu box and click OK.

Click “Add Site”.

Add New Keywords

In step 1, enter the keywords you would like to have analyzed, separateeach with a comma or use the button next to it to add your keywords on anew line.

In step 2 enter your website address.

In step 3 select the search engines you would like SEO Elite v4.0 to search,then click OK.

The image below shows the keyword entry window. I’ve shown anexample of one of my sites that I recently added new pages to.

If you click on any row, while expanding the main window, you’ll see a greendot which depicts the keyword rank.

Once the process has completed, save the project. When you come back toit the following week after you’ve made some changes, or added more linkbacks to these particular pages, etc, open the project. Then click “RunSites(s)”. This will keep the positions of the rankings it found the weekprior, and add new ranking positions to the chart below.

If you want to remove any of the sites, click on any row, or you canhighlight any of those in the upper plane window. Then click “Removesite(s)”.

The Show drop down box allows you to view data over a period of time:one week, two weeks, one month, two months, full period.

Important:There is no need to ever save this project because SEO Elitewill automatically save all of your keywords. Again, NEVER use the “savebutton” on this project because SEO Elite will automatically save yourproject 5 results.

This project allows you to quickly see how many AND which pages thesearch engines know about and have indexed.

Select Project 6 from the drop down menu in Step 1, then in step 2 enterthe URL’s you would like to find out how many of the pages are indexed. Instep 3, choose the search engines you would like to use, and in step 4,select the report items you want to use. And click OK.

- Search Engine: Highlights which search engine being used

- Domain name: The domain name you entered in the set up window

- Total pages indexed: Lets you know how many pages each searchengine has indexed.

- Total pages retrieved: Simply lets you know how many of the pagesSEO Elite returned.

The lower frame of this window, shows you the pages that each searchengine found, and next to that the page rank of those pages.

To view the details of each search engine, simply click the row in the upperframe window.

This project finds super high quality websites, that would make excellentlink partners…

So first, we select project 7 from step 1.

Step 2: select how you would like to find the possible authority websites.

Choose from: “By Keyword phrase on Google”, “By Keyword phrase onYahoo”, “By Keyword phrase on MSN”, or “Manually enter links”. If youchoose “Manually enter links”, Step 3 will change, so rather entering thekeyword or keyword phrases here, you will be entering the Websites youwould like to analyze, and then it will analyze all of the websites that arelinking to them.

Step 3: if you haven’t chosen “manually enter links” here, type in thekeyword or keyword phrase you would like to analyze.

Step 4: use the slider bar to return the top X ranked websites for thekeyword phrase you entered into step 3 via the search engine you chose instep 2. You can choose up to 30 website ranking results.

I would typically leave this set to 5, or 10. The more you chose, the longerit will take SEO Elite v4.0 to finish. This step will not be available if youchose “manually enter links” in Step 3.

Step 5: use the slide bar to select the minimum matches you require ofhow many websites link to the top ranked sites. Select 2 is the default andprobably the best setting to choose.

Step 6: Select the search engines you would like to use, you can choosefrom either: Google, Yahoo!, Altavista, AllTheWeb, or MSN. Or you canchoose all of them if you wish.

Report View

This is where things get really neat; as you can see from above, SEO Elitev4.0 has nearly finished processing the results.

The top window shows the top 10 ranked websites for the keywordphrase: forex trading , which is the keyword I entered an runtime, foundon the Google Search Engine.

The bottom window shows ALL of the websites that link to 2 or more ofthe top 10 ranked websites for that given keyword phrase we entered intoStep 3.

What we’re looking for is to see which of the Websites in the lower framewe should request a link from.

The BEST possible link would be a website that links to all of the top 10ranked websites. But, any of the websites that appear in the lower framewould make excellent link partners or websites that you should approach

to try and obtain a link from. Simply right click on the website row andselect, send to project 2. Then use Proiect #2 to gather the website’scontact information. Very neat!

To view the total found links that link to each of the top ranked websites,we can click the header “Total Found” as shown above which is highlightedin blue. We can view them in “descending” or “ascending” order simply byclicking it once more to toggle between the two.

In the above example talkgold.com has linked to 8 of the top rankedwebsites. Talkgold.com is not a forex related website, it’s a HYIP forum(High Yield Investment Programs) and it’s not a forex website. One mayconsider that this is not a suitable site to link to. Remember, your keywordrankings are not determined by a site that is entirely about forex trading,but it’s the page content that counts.

Viewing the site

We can visit the website domain by clicking on the web address in thecolumn “Website URL”. If you want to view the page in which the website is linking to the topranking websites, click the word “yes” from either of the columns “link to#1”, “link to #2”, etc.

To select all of them, simply click the first website in the lower window, anduse the scroll bar on the right to scroll to the bottom. Hold down the“Shift” key on your keyboard and then select the last website in the lowerwindow and it will highlight all of the websites. Or alternatively, right clickthe lower window and select the “select all” from the pop up menu.

To select a random number of websites, simply press the “Ctrl” key onyour keyboard and click each row with your mouse button. Right click thehighlighted selection and send it to project 2.

This project allows you to easily and quickly submit your articles to themost popular article directories online.

First, select project 8 under step 1 then click “ok”. You will be taken to themain article submission screen as shown below:

You will notice several columns in the top frame, including:

Article Title:The title of the article that you have added to SEO Elite

Category:The category that you have selected within SEO Elite, for yourarticle to be submitted to

Last Submitted:The date that your article was last submitted to at least1 article directory

Created On:The date that you added your article to SEO Elite

Status:Whether your article has been submitted to 1 or more articledirectories yet

Google:The total number of links pointing to your URL from Google.

Yahoo:The total number of links pointing to your URL from Yahoo.

MSN:The total number of links pointing to your URL from MSN.

The first thing you’ll want to do is click the “add article” button located onthe right. You will then be presented with a screen that looks like below:

Click on each of the tabs located on the bottom of the window and fill outall of the appropriate fields, and then click the “ok” button. These are all ofthe potential items that the article directories will ask you to input.

Essentially what you’re doing now is entering this into SEO Elite once, andthen as you use SEO Elite to submit your articles to the directories, SEOElite will automatically fill in these fields on each of the article directorywebsites.

This is a HUGE timesaver, because you don’t have to manually type in all ofthese fields every time you submit to an article directory. Do it once, andyou’re done.

Your article will appear in the top frame. Select it by clicking on the row. Itwill highlight the row in blue, as shown below. You’ll notice that I’ve added 2articles, but I’ve only selected the top article. (If you want to select multiplearticles, just hold the control key and click on each of the articles you wantto select)

Click the “submit articles” button located on the bottom right hand side ofthe screen. Now it’s time to submit the article that we’ve added to SEOElite.

After you click “submit articles”, a giant list of article directories will appearwithin SEO Elite, as shown below. You’ll notice that some websites requireyou to create an account with the directory before you can submit anarticle. SEO Elite will tell you which website requires login information. Thisis indicated by a “yes” or “no” under the “login column”. Select an articledirectory by clicking on the row, and then click the “start submitting”button.

When you do this, SEO Elite will open up the article directory in thebottom frame. If the website requires you to create an account with themfirst, SEO Elite will pop up a message telling you to create an account withthem first. You’ll notice that we selected ezinearticles.com and clicked the“Start Submitting” button. This website required us to create an accountwith them, so let’s go ahead and do this now. We’ll do this within the webbrowser inside of SEO Elite.

Once you’ve created an account, you can have SEO Elite automatically storeyour login information... So, you’ll never have to manually login or create anaccount with this article directory again. Do it once, and you’re doneforever. Another HUGE time saver. In order for SEO Elite to automaticallysave your login information, you must click the “save login info” buttonlocated on the top right. This is VERY important. So, go ahead and do thatafter you’ve created your account.

Once you’ve created your account, you’ll be taken directly to their articlesubmission form. You’ll notice that a great majority of your information hasbeen pre-populated into the form for you. Go ahead and fill out the fewoptions that weren’t auto-populated and click the submit article buttonwithin the website.

That’s it! Now, you can just go through all of the other article directories inSEO Elite and you can submit your article to those directories as well. You

can skip the first few steps of adding an article and can simply go througheach of the article directories and submit the 1 article you’ve added to SEOElite. Piece of cake!

Lastly, you can edit the details of each article directory by “right-clicking”your mouse while selecting a directory. You will be presented with thescreen below:
