A CPD-accredited and comprehensive3-day course about adult sensory processing

The course is CPD accredited (18 CEU’s) and will incorporate key theory, research and practice concepts of sensory processing for therapists, psychologists, counsellors and coaches to expand their knowledge, insight and service offering for individual clients.

Dr. Annemarie Lombard is the Founder and CEO of Sensory Intelligence® Consulting, has a Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy acquired through UCT and is a registered Occupational Therapist with the HPCSA. She is the subject expert in adult sensory processing and the author of "Sensory Intelligence: Why It Matters More Than IQ and EQ", published by Metz Press, in 2007. She has been published widely across newspaper and magazine print media, has been a guest on various radio programs and also featured on television. Annemarie has 26 years of local and international experience in the use of neuroscience and sensory processing theories. Sensory Intelligence® Consulting won the national BPeSA Award for Non-Technical Innovation, External for 2010. Annemarie won the SACBW Business Woman of the Year Award in the professional category for Cape Town, 2008/9. Annemarie trains Sensory Intelligence® principles for education, parenting, corporate and call centre groups. She has a passion for mentoring and a vision to expand Sensory Intelligence® as a therapy, training and development tool across all industries.

• Only 20 delegates per course will be allowed.• Candidates need to complete an application

form and su bmit proof of a professional registration (i.e.HPCSA/Coaching/etc.)

• Every attendee must use their 2 passwords issued prior to the course (one for themselves and one for a potential or current client). The Sensory Matrix™ results will be used for case study discussions.

• Attendance does not grant any delegate the rights to use the Sensory Intelligence® brand name and trademarks for any personal or financial gain.

• This workshop material may NOT be applied for group work or group training purposes. Delegates are welcome to apply for licensing or contractor options after the course.

• Knowledge gained may be used in therapeutic one-on-one coaching and parent consultations.

• We do NOT provide a therapeutic hands-on approach but a consultative method using sensory profiling and related strategies as the intervention basis.

• This course does NOT enable any person to work with children. For sensory processing/integration theories applied with children, please contact SAISI (South African Institute of Sensory Integration).
