What is NPS anyway? NPS = Net Promoter Score. NPS is an index that measures the willingness of customers to recommend a company’s products or services to others. It is used to gauge the customer’s overall satisfaction with our service and the customer’s loyalty to the Vaco brand. At Vaco, we use a simple scale of 1-10 and our survey is one question: How likely are you to recommend Vaco to a friend or colleague?

• 9-10 = Promoter. This person is a happy, loyal Vaco customer. Yay! • 7-8 = Passive. Satisfied, but somewhat indifferent. Could be swayed to work with someone else. • 0-6 = Detractor. Unhappy customer who can hurt our brand through negative word-of-mouth.

As you can see, it doesn’t take much for someone to be considered a detractor. We want all of our customers to be Promoters. To help you stay on top of this, all Survey Responses are emailed to the Candidate Manager for Sense Emails. Depending on the score the person gives, we also have built in follow up questions.

• If answer is 9 or higher: Do you have any referrals? If so, please enter them here and a recruiter will reach out to connect if there’s a good fit.

• If answer is 8 or lower: Thank you for your feedback. What was the main reason behind your answer, and what can we do to improve?

* Grace Period For those who enter & approve placements late, there is a 60-hr Grace Period on the Welcome message. For example, if a start was yesterday, consultant should’ve received a message the day before. But if the placement wasn’t in approved status at that time, they wouldn’t have been included. Today it’s finally approved…since we are w/in the 60-hour grace period, consultant will still be welcomed by Jerry.

Opting out of Sense The three workflows in Phase 1 are not optional; they are required. You cannot opt your candidates out of receiving these messages. But in future Phases, we will create optional workflows with different kinds of messaging. By default, all candidates are set to Yes – Candidate will receive Optional Sense Workflows (in addition to any required workflows). To override this, go to the Candidate record > click on Edit > scroll down toward the bottom of the Candidate Contact Info section (just above the Compensation & Recruiting Info section) > Sense Optional Workflows? Change to No > Save.

This will only stop them from receiving optional messages; they will continue to receive required workflows.

Note: There is no Opt Out from the Consultant’s point of view. This is because these are not considered “mass emails”.

Bouncebacks If a Sense message bounces back as undeliverable, the Candidate Manager for Sense will be notified via email. It is his/her responsibility to see that the email is corrected in the candidate’s Bullhorn record.

NPS Surveys All survey responses are emailed to the Candidate Manager for Sense. It is his/her responsibility to take appropriate action.
