NetDoktor is the pioneer of German health websites and offers its users easy to understand medical information about the most important diseases, symptoms, examinations, and drugs. The largest health community in Germany, www.med1.de, belongs to the company as well. We are an innovative team with a lot of enthusiasm, passion and an office in the heart of Munich, Germany. NetDoktor is part of the Holtzbrinck Publishing Group.
We are looking for a senior software developer as of now to make our team in Munich stronger.
Responsibilities:• You develop new product features together in a
team and in close cooperation with the product management team as well as other departments
• You have a significant impact on the system and software architecture and enable us to scale traffic and the amount of data further
We work like this:• We work as a self-organizing scrum team• We work with the Atlassian stack (Jira, Bitbucket,
Bamboo)• We use the best tools and technologies for the
respective task, e.g. Python, PHP, Django, Django CMS, uWSGI, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, SASS, Typescript
Your qualifications:• At least 5 years of project experience in the deve-
lopment of web systems in a python environment among others
• Experience in various frameworks, setup and testing
• Technical know-how in web, e.g. • Cache systems/performance• Databases• SOA via REST or RPC• Security Related Issues (XSS, SQL Injections
etc.)• Affinity to sustainability in software projects
• The core principles of clean code• Documentation, reviews & design• Traceability by structured implementation• TDD/Pair programming
• Basic knowledge in frontend technologies (SASS, Typescript, Javascript, CSS3, HTML5) is welcomed
