    Extremely Low-Gluten Hosts:

Over the years we have provided extremely low-gluten hosts for

parishioners who are gluten intolerant or have Celiac disease.

These special hosts are made by a group of Benedictine sisters in

    the mid-west.

"The Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in Clyde,

Missouri, have made Vatican-approved, low-gluten altar breads

since 2004. These breads have been tested by independent

laboratories and deemed safe for use for most people with Celiac

    Sprue Disease.

The Benedictine Sisters are the largest religious producers of altar

breads in the United States, making almost 9 million hosts each

month. The low-gluten breads are produced in a separate facility in

order to prevent cross-contamination. The low gluten breads are

made from water and wheat starch that has had most of the gluten

    removed.

In 2004, Dr. Alessio Fasano, director of the Center for Celiac

Research at the University of Maryland, maintained that the

amount of gluten contained in one of our low-gluten altar breads

GRADES 9 and 10 Confirmation Program Our confirmation programs are in full swing; it is so nice to have

the kids on campus as they say.

Our incoming 9th grade class began their two-year Confirmation

program. We look forward to sharing many relative faith filled

moments with our students and families.

FUN FACT! Last week, we welcomed Dylan Snee as a new lector

at our teen Mass. This weekend we will welcome our volunteer

teachers, who are Juniors and Seniors in high school, they are: Allie

Olson, Caroline Donohue, Jillian Perrone, Sarah Cuddahy, Brook

Conroy, Madeline Grudinskas, Sinead Sheehy and Reilly O’Leary,

.how blessed are we that our teens are willing to openly share their

faith? We have plenty of opportunities for our confirmed teens as

well as those in our Confirmation program to serve our parish,

please call 781-383-0630 or email us at:

    [email protected]. Thanks!

    IMPORTANT DATES: Grade 10 ~ Mass then class –Sunday 29th & October 6th @ 6PM!!

Grade 9 ~ Speaker Linda Thayer immediately following the 6PM

Mass this Sunday the 29th .

    GRADES 7 and 8

Classes begin on Sunday, October 6th at 5pm –

immediately followed by the 6pm Teen Mass-- Please join us!

Registrations have been steadily coming in, thank you! At this

time, we are in need of 7th grade teachers –please consider

or with any questions or comments.

WE ARE IN NEED OF VOLUNTEER TEACHERS!

The youth group is not one dimensional. We

are not just about a trip at the end of the year.

We do many things. The most important part

of the youth group is the meetings we have

every Wednesday night from 7-8. These meet-

ings are not an extension of religious educa-

tion. They are not a bible study. We come to-

gether and discuss a variety of topics. The

every day stuff. What we try to do is help each other understand

the power we have to do so much good in this world. Each person

is free to express their thoughts without judgement. We come to

realize the importance of listening to one another and having a

conversation and through that conversation come to some kind of

consensus. Yes we do try to realize the Gospels are present during

these conversations. This is done in away to help all of us realize

something so simple yet so profound. We are all equal in the eyes

of God. When we come to understand this is not up to me to de-

cide. I am not the judge and jury of that. I, just like you need

someone or many people to remind me and continue to help me

understand we are equal in the eyes of God.
