  • Objective: To discuss the key issues on integration of participatory (initiative)budgeting and Internet-based technologies.

    Who are invited to participate: Current and prospective leaders of citizen engagement projects,consultants in participatory (initiative) budgeting, IT experts, officialsand specialists from state and municipal governing bodies.

    Key topics for discussion: • The review of citizen engagement in budgeting platforms and openinformation platforms. • Open budget information and platforms for citizen participation: ifthere is a need for integration. • Which modules should citizen engagement platforms have? • Is the integration of crowdsourcing platforms and citizen participationplatforms necessary? • Is there a need for consulting support of projects at participatorybudgeting platforms?

    15.30 – 17.30 Broadening the citizens’ dialogue on public resources and commongoods. Round Table with foreign guest-experiences: - Consul (Madrid) - a rising standard for multi-process platforms over the PB; - Urban Center Bologna (Italy) - Citizens managing the urban commons; - Freecoin (Netherlands/Faro) - Using the blockchain to empower collectiveparticipation.

    Official languages of the seminar: Portuguese and Russian. There will be simultaneous translation.
