Introduction Google GLASS is a wearable computer with an
augmented reality head-mounted display (HMD).
Google GLASS displays information in smart phone-like hands-free format, that can interact with the internet via natural language voice commands.

Augmented Reality Augmented reality is a live, direct or indirect, view of a
physical, real-world environment.
Real-world elements are augmented by generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data.
DevelopmentThe Glass project was started "about three years ago" by an engineer named Babak Parviz.
Glass is being developed by Google X .Google X is a secret Laboratory, which works on research & development of futuristic technology.
The self-driving(or driver less) car was a result of this so called secret lab.

Its limited in scope right now, but the future, Google believes, is bright & the device itself is “incredibly compelling”.
Trying to get approval by FCC this year.

that use the evolving familiar technologies that brings the sophistication & ease of communication & information.
