• Each written assignment will be graded following the Department of Languages Guidelines. These guidelines include:• Ideas and content• Organization• Use of language• Sentence Fluency• Vocabulary• Use of conventions

Oral Grading Policies

• Understanding and Communication of Ideas: understands and communicates at the required level. Are you sticking to the topic or not answering what you have been asked to discuss.

• Accuracy: Makes a few (if any) noticeable e error so f grammar or word order.

•  Pronunciation and Intonation: Always and easily intelligible. Words are pronounced correctly and proper intonation is used for English expression.

•  Vocabulary: Always uses appropriate vocabulary and idioms for language level.

•   Fluency: Speech is fluent and effortless. If student cannot remember a word, then uses a different means to express the same idea.
