Expiration Date Policy Change November 2013 In the past, all expiration date-sensitive products had to be sent to

Amazon fulfillment centers with more than 90 days of shelf life

remaining. Effective immediately, FBA has changed its expiration

date-sensitive products policy to reflect the variety of products sold

by FBA sellers. This change was made in in order to better match the

needs of the variety of date-sensitive products that FBA sellers send us

while maintaining the high standards that customers expect in

Amazon's product categories. We still require that identical products

packaged together have the same expiration date when they are

shipped to Amazon fulfillment centers.

The remaining shelf life required at the time your product is received

at Amazon fulfillment centers is outlined below:

Baby & Infant: Greater than 100 days

Baking Supplies: Greater than 70 days

Beverages: Greater than 56 days

Boxed Meals: Greater than 70 days

Canned Goods: Greater than 180 days

Cereals: Greater than 100 days

Condiments, Spreads & Cooking: Greater than 100 days

Dietary supplements: Greater than 90 days

Foreign Foods: Between 56 days and 100 days (depending on the

type of product)

Fresh Foods: Greater than 70 days

Gift Baskets & Hampers: Greater than 70 days

Pasta & Grains: Between 70 days and 100 days (depending on the

type of product)

Snacks & Desserts: Between 45 days and 60 days (depending on the

type of product)

In addition, when the product comes within 30 to 90 days of its

expiration date, we will remove the units for disposal. The number of

days will vary depending on the category and the type of product.
