The

SELFIE WITH RALPHIE Over the years Ralph has had quite

a few photos taken of him. As we

know, though, he is not necessarily

the most modest of moose. He

doesn’t think he gets enough lime-

light! Even though we think he is a

male prima donna, he demands

that we get more people to take

pictures of him so we came up with

this contest. Take a picture with

Ralph The Moose any time during

May and post it to Facebook

(tagging Ralph in the picture). The

person who posts the photo with

the most ‘LIKES’ by June 1st will win

a $25 Cannonsburg Village Gift Certificate. This is a Chronicle

exclusive contest so this is the only way anyone will hear about

May is Michigan Wine Month which was created to celebrate

and promote wines made in Michigan. Both the Honey Creek

Inn and the Cannonsburg Bottleshop will be taking

part this year with a few promotions of our

own. The Honey Creek will be offering two

wines (Pinot Grigio & Harbor Red) from

Good Harbor Winery in Lake Leelanau, MI at

special prices throughout the month. The

Bottleshop will be offering a 10% discount on

all Michigan wines during May. Plus, if you

buy a Michigan wine from the Bottleshop

you can enjoy it at the Honey Creek Inn for

only a $2 corking fee. Support Michigan by

checking out some of the local wines that

are mitten made!

Also in May, we will be featuring two Good Harbor wines

from Leelanau County as we take part in Michigan Wine

Month. On top of that, we’ll be featuring an east coast

special with our Cantonese Style Fried Blue Crab entrée.

Blue Crabs are a specialty in the summer time all around

the Chesapeake Bay area in Maryland. You won’t want

to miss these fresh Blue Crabs that we will be serving all
