• Get-set-goal: Blueprint of Our Life Series is a series of workshops aiming to discuss the career trends of various fields in the next 10 years. Students will learn from professionals about how to prepare for imminent new challenges. It is to inspire students to think about their future and set goals to be achieved.
• “Let us shine!” is an interactive workshop that helps gifted students understand giftedness, explore their strengths, develop social competence and seek the meaning of being gifted.

• If students are under the age of 10 by the time of admission, their HKAGE membership will only be activated in the following month after they have reached the age of 10
• Will NOT accept applications from Secondary 6 students (or equivalent to the last year in secondary school)
Quota LimitationNo limitation on school quota, BUT each student can only apply for the Online Screening Programme
• ONCE either via school / self nomination during the primary school study
• And TWICE during the secondary school study
Other Important Notes1. Each student can apply for ONE “Online Screening
Programme” only with the maximum TWO attempts on the final assessment
2. Students cannot change the applied programmeafter the application deadline
3. Students who have applied for the “Online Screening Programme” via “School Nomination” cannot apply for another "Online Screening Programme" via "Self Nomination". The HKAGE will only consider the "School Nomination"
Other Important Notes4. Schools can access the following information
of their students who apply via “School Nomination” or “Self Nomination”:

5. It is the applicant’s responsibility to provide an accurate and valid email address for correspondence.
• If you do not receive the application confirmation email after submitting the application form, please contact Student Services Team by email ([email protected]) within 3 working days
• If you do not receive the application result email (including the login details of the online screening programme) after the announcement date, please contact Student Services Team by email ([email protected]) within 7 working days
• After the aforesaid period, we will not be able to process your application

Content: To introduce the arrangements for submission of nomination profiles and operation of “Online Nomination Platform”
Prepare Nomination Information Student Nominees’ Legal Guardians prepare for the nomination information including:
1. Student’s Legal Guardian’s observation on the nominee #2. Softcopies of school reports (school year 2019/20) #3. At most 3 significant achievements with softcopies of
supporting documents 4. Softcopies of intellectual assessment reports5. One creative work in the means of audio, video, word,
pictorial format, etc. 6. At most 3 softcopies of additional information

Screening Criteria Screening by HKAGE is based on Dr Joseph Renzulli’s Three-Ring Conception of Giftedness, taking into consideration whether the student could benefit from the HKAGE programme provision.
Membership Requirements
1. Membership Requirements in the First Review Period
Full members must complete the follow requirements in the first review period to sustain full membership:
➢ Primary members: Successfully complete a common-core programme “Let us shine!”
➢ Secondary members: Successfully complete at least ONE workshop under the common-core programme ’Get-set-goal: Blueprint of Our Life’ Series
➢ First review period runs from membership effective date
to 31 August of the following year
2. Requirement for Sustaining Student Membership
AFTER the First Review Period
All student members must complete the follow requirement within each school year to sustain full membership:
➢ Successfully complete at least ONE programme/activity within each school year
➢ Any programmes/activities listed on the Student Learning Profile will be counted
➢ The review period for each school year runs from 1 September to 31 August of the following year
Procedures for applying online screening programmes
• Please click “Nomination and Student Membership” under “For Students”. In the “Self Nomination” section, there is a link which brings you to the webpage of the “Self Nomination for Secondary and Primary Students 2020/21” (https://www.hkage.org.hk/en/students/student-membership/self-nomination/202021)
• Go to “HKAGE Online Learning Programmes for Screening” section and click “Online Application” under “Application Details” to apply for Online Screening Programmes.
• Click the relevant link for Programme Detail and User manual for online application

• An acknowledgement (including the personal account login details and application form) email will be sent to the registered email accordingly for record use. To complete the application process, please print the application form and upload the completed application form with the legal guardian’s signature and school attendance document to the personal account on or before the application deadline.
• Login to the application account to print the “Application Form”
• You can select “Upload“Application Form”and“School Attendance Document”” from the menu again and select “click here” to check your uploaded files.
Important Notes for Uploading Documents
• Only 1 file should be uploaded for each document. If necessary, please combine various pages of the document into 1 single file before uploading. For the same document, the newly uploaded file will override the original file.
• Only files in pdf or jpg format will be accepted.
• The file size must not exceed 2 MB.
• If there is no response after clicking the “Upload” button, please check if the file format and size are correct.
