Road trips are a fantastic way to explore Iceland at your own pace. But if it’s your first time in Iceland, being in control of your itinerary and planning all of your pit-stops can be a daunting task. That’s why we’ve developed the Iceland Travel Companion App which comes preinstalled on a tablet. The app is exclusive to our self-drive/road trip guests and includes information about your hotels and route plus thousands of points of interest along the way.

For one of our guests, they had largely planned their itinerary independently of the App, but they were thrilled to discover places beyond their intended plan and wished they’d had more time in Iceland to explore its many sites with the App as their guide. For them, the Iceland Travel Companion was reason enough to plan another self-drive tour with Iceland Travel.
