Self Defence of Girls Students under RMSA
In West Bengal the trend of enrolment for Girls Students Scores far Better than their male
counterpart. It helps in achieving the desire 100% GER at the Secondary Level Schooling in
the long run. In spite of all these certain stray incident of harassment and atrocities against
Girls child takes place sporadically thus creating sense of sphere and helplessness among
the Girls student and their parents. Keeping this in mind SSM Purba Medinipur has taken
initiative to impart self defence training to girl’s students. Which has included martial art
training and Psycho Social counselling for girls in the selecting 50 girls schools? 2500 (Two
thousand five hundred) no(s) girls students has been benefited out of this programme.
