Select Download

Select to Download the Binary version.

Download the suggested file. After it’s downloaded, unzip the file.

From the Bin directory of the Zip file, run either the 32 or 64 bit version (depending on your operating system).

From the File menu, select to make a New Project.

From the categories, select Java, from the Projects, select Java Application, then click on Next.

The first time you make a Java Project, you will need to Download and Active support for Java SE.

Click on Next.

Click to Accept the terms, then click on Install.

When done click on Finish.

Please wait a moment while Java SE is activated.

Give your project a name then click on Finish.

You are now ready to use NetBeans with Java!
