Acheson + Glover (AG) and Maccaferri have formed along-term partnership for the supply of engineeredsegmental retaining walls throughout the UK and Ireland.

Under the agreement, AG will manufacture AnchorDiamond™, Anchor Vertica™ and Anchor Landmark™products for use in engineered walls. Maccaferri will act astheir sole-distributor for these products in Ireland and theUK, supplying them with their market-leading Paragrid®

geogrid reinforcement and providing customers withunrivalled engineering and design support. In certainmarkets, construction services are available for clientswho require a design, supply and install service.

The agreement has been reached with the full support ofAnchor Wall Systems.

Designed for fast track installation, all of AG’s retainingwall solutions are pre-finished, mortarless, easy-to-fitand extremely cost effective. There is a block to suit allretaining applications from 0.5m in height upwards.

AG’s segmental retaining wall system is suitable for use in both commercial and residential locations and is available in a range of designs and colours.

This state-of-the-art factory has been accredited as animportant part of the overall approval process.

The main components of Anchor VerticaTM and AnchorLandmarkTM, have been subject to independentassessment throughout the world and have receivedinternational approval from the most respected bodiesin the industry. Anchor Landmark has also receivedapproval from the UK Highways Agency.

Testing was carried out both in-house and ataccredited independent testing laboratories in theU.S.A. There was also testing at accreditedindependent testing laboratories in the UK and thegeogrid has been tested all around the world.

Typically used with geosynthetic reinforcement, Verticablocks meet or exceed industry standards for strengthand durability.
