Important info for teachers:
MPS will be syncing all of your classes for you in Clever this year.
You will NOT need to create your own classes.
However, if you decide to create a PD session, after school club, or other extra classes in Seesaw, you will need to create them on
your own with your personal email instead of school email.

Each time a student is finished using the
iPad, they will need to close out all the apps
before passing the iPad on to the next
student.

Teachers can edit the posting in a variety of ways:
• Edit Item if you need to cover up another child’s
face that might be in a photo.
• Edit People if a student accidentally posted the
item under the wrong name.
• Edit Folders if you’d like to save it to a specific
subject folder or “Private Teacher Folder” so
students and parents cannot see it.

Teachers and Students can reply to postings in a variety of ways:
• Like the item by clicking the “heart” icon to show your approval.
• Comment on an item if you’d like to share your input.
• Attach “Skills” to an item and rate the students’ Skill level for that specific posting.
• Edit Folders if you’d like to save it to a specific subject folder or “Private Teacher Folder” so
students and parents cannot see the posting yet.

The Activity Library has three tabs:• My Library are activities that you have saved (clicked heart icon) or used recently.
• School library are activities shared or used by other teachers in your school.
• Community Library contains thousands of activities created and shared by
teachers from all over the world.
• You can search/refine by grade level and/or subject category.

“Inbox” or from clicking the “+” and
selecting “Send Announcement”.
How to send Announcements
TranslationsTeachers and families can now translate
Seesaw content into over 55 languages!
If a note, caption, comment, announcement,
or message is written in a language that is
different from the language of a family's or
teacher’s device, a “See Translation” option
appears below the post. Tap “See
Translation” and Seesaw automatically
translates any text into your native language.
Students do not have access to this feature.
