    The Office of Career Services and the Office of Community Enga gement at Mo unt St.

    servic e lea rning and voluntee ring op portunities.

    The Office of Career Services and the Office of Community Enga gement work

    c ollaboratively to ensure tha t students a re p rep a red for their c a ree rs and for their futureroles as lea ders in our c om mun ity. The Doheny Camp us is loc a ted nea r dow ntown Los

    Ang eles a t Figue roa and Ad ams Street (nea r USC) a nd p rima rily serves stud ents in ourAssoc iate In Arts p rog ram.

    Benefits: Intern w ill rec eive a stipend of b etw een $300-$500 pe r sem ester, ba sed onnumber of ho urs wo rked . This is a dynam ic op portunity to wo rk with und erserved , mostly

    first-ge nera tion stud ents and Assoc iate in Arts p rog ram p op ulations. You will alsoc ollaborate with fac ulty, administra tors, and c om munity partners in a supportive, positive

    environment. Colleg e will provide and fund professiona l deve lop me nt, suc h a sc onfe renc es op portunities where yo u c an b uild relationships with p rofessiona ls from

    d iverse institutions, ac ross the reg ion a nd surround ing sta tes.

    limited to individual stude nt c ounseling reg arding m ajor and c areer op tions, ca reerexploration a c tivities, providing w orkshop s on a va riety of c a ree r top ic s, resume review

    and c ounseling , assisting in the p lanning, exec ution and p rom otion o f ca ree r eve nts andge neral offic e d uties, as need ed .

    Com munity Enga ge me nt Grad uate Assistant:Duties and responsibilities inc lude but a renot limited to he lping students understand the va lue of co mm unity servic e for both

    them selves and the la rger soc iety; individua l stud ent c ounseling reg ard ing volunteer

    and servic e lea rning opportunities, p rovid ing resources on c om munity involvem ent ,c onnec ting w ith Com munity Pa rtners and C om munity Enga ge me nt; planning,

    exec ution a nd p rom otion of vo lunteer fairs and other Com munity Enga ge me nt events;ma intenanc e of Comm unity Pa rtner da tab ase, and g eneral offic e duties as need ed .

    Requirements: A g rad uate stude nt in the field o f highe r educ ation a dministration,c olleg e stud ent servic es or c ounseling with a n interest in wo rking with c olleg e students or

    an undergrad ua te student w ith interest in going into g radua te stud ies in these a rea s.

    Work Hours: Prefe r an a pp lic ant w ho is willing to work 10-15 hours a wee k. Hours a reflexib le b etw ee n 8:30 a .m. and 4:30 p .m., M-F. Selec ted c and ida te a nd Direc tor will

    agree upon set sc hed ule p rior to c om menc em ent of position.
