Matthew 4:4 “Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word (rhema) that comes from the mouth of God.”ly
Stay, wait
Matthew 13:12
Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not
have, even what they have will be taken from them.
Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it
penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts
and attitudes of the heart.
Mark 2:8
Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, “Why are you thinking
these things?
Job 33:14-18
For God does speak—now one way, now another—though no one perceives it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep
sleep falls on people as they slumber in their beds, he may speak in their earsand terrify
them with warnings, to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, to
preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword
Matthew 2:13
When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he
said, “take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to
kill him.”
Psalm 27:5
For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his
sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.
1 Corinthians 14:3
But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging
and comfort.
Acts 21:10-11
After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. Coming over to us, he took Paul’s
belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, “The Holy Spirit says, ‘In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind the
owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’”
Acts 9:3-6
As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice
say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” “Who are you, Lord?” Saul
asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. “Now get up and go
into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
Acts 10:9-13About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter
went up on the roof to pray. He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. He saw heaven opened and
something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter.
Kill and eat.”
Acts 10:3-6One day at about three in the afternoon he had a
vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, “Cornelius!” Cornelius
stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked. The angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God. Now send men to Joppa to bring back a man named Simon who is called Peter. He is staying with
Simon the tanner, whose house is by the sea.”
Acts 5:18-20
They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail. But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought
them out. “Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.”
Five Steps to Discern God’s Will
1. Are you committed to do His will no matter what He tells you?
2. What does Scripture say?3. What do your authorities say?4. Do you have peace in your spirit?5. Are circumstances lining up?
Psalm 40
“I haven’t kept quiet about these things…I have not kept Your righteousness to myself, sealed up in the secret places of my heart; instead, I boldly tell others how You save and how loyal You are. I haven’t been shy to talk about your love, nor have I been afraid to tell Your truth before the
great assembly of Your people.”
Deuteronomy 32:11
Remember the days of old;consider the generations long past.Ask your father and he will tell you, your elders, and they will explain to you.
