Ultimately that’s the work of the Holy Spirit, of course. But as a consultant for Seeing the Word, my goal is to set the stage for a powerful experience with the living God of the Bible.
I do this by presenting and facilitating creative prayer, helping youth and adults alike take a fresh look at connecting with God.
The method I teach is called visio divina: a prayerful reading of scripture that was developed from traditional Catholic prayer practices and draws on the Sacred Art of The Saint John’s Bible.

She holds a Master of Arts in Theology degree with a concentration in Scripture from Saint John’s School of Theology•Seminary, Collegeville, MN.
Previously Kathy has worked as both a principal and teacher in the Catholic school setting. She is on the summer faculty for Youth and Theology in Ministry program at Saint John’s, and teaches in the Diocese of Saint Cloud Lay Ministry Program.

She facilitates on the national and regional level in various church settings. Kathy has tailored her work for a vast spectrum of ages and ministry contexts: from grade school children to mature adults, from groups of 5 to presentations for 200.
