The Shakespeare Gardens contain many of the plants and herbs mentioned in Shakespeare’s writing and are immaculately maintained by a dedicated team of gardeners.

Each garden has its own unique character and reflects traditional gardening styles and practices from the 16th Century to the present day. Features include the cottage garden, orchard, sculpture garden, maze, history of gardening exhibition and romantic willow cabin at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, Elizabethan style knot garden and historic Great Garden at Nash’s House & New Place and herbal bed and ancient mulberry tree at Hall’s Croft.
