It was another very large entry of milkers which sold to £1900 for a Kingspool bred heifer from M & K Churchill & Sons, who had others at £1810, £1740, £1700 and £1670 to average £1764. Other heifers sold to £1880 from MC Powell and £1850 from Ham Farm Partners. “Kingspool” heifer £1820 from RJ Goss & Son and £1720 from PJ Searle & Son. Cows sold to £1460 from PA Cleave. Crossbred heifers to £1400 and £1280 for registered Ayrshire cross Friesians from RC Pike & Son. Jersey cross cows to £1220 and £1200 from C & J Raymond. Montbeliarde cross cows due in December from George Thompson Farms, Norfolk sold to £1010. A good run of 25 pedigree incalf heifers from ML & RI Loder due November to December sold to £1430 and £1380 to average £1150. Yearling heifers from RL & ME Trott sold to £520.
