Securing Other Building-Related Permits ABOUT THE SERVICE

TYPES OF PERMITS AND REQUIREMENT(S) ELECTRICAL PERMIT This permit is required before putting up new/additional, or altering electrical installations involving at least 20 outlets or a capacity of 4 KW. For new buildings, this forms a part of the requirements for a Building Permit Application. Requirements:

1. Electrical Permit Application Form signed by a professional Electrical Engineer.

2. Electrical Plans 3. Electrical Specifications 4. Bill of Materials and Cost Estimates

MECHANICAL PERMIT This is required before the installation of new / additional, removal or alteration of machinery of at least 20 HP. For new buildings, this forms a part of the requirements for a Building Permit Application. Requirements:

1. Mechanical Permit Application Form 2. Mechanical Plans signed by a professional Mechanical Engineer 3. Mechanical Specifications 4. Bill of Materials and Cost Estimates.

SANITARY/PLUMBING PERMIT This permit is required before the construction of new/additional, or altering existing plumbing installations, water supply, storm drainage, water purification and sewerage treatment plants. For new buildings, this forms a part of the requirements for a Building Permit application. Requirements:

1. Sanitary/Plumbing Permits Application Form signed by a Sanitary or Master Plumber 2. Sanitary/Plumbing Plans 3. Sanitary/Plumbing Specifications 4. Bill of Materials and Cost Estimates

FENCING PERMIT This is secured prior to actual construction of a fence. Requirements:

1. Fencing Permit Application Form 2. Fencing Plan (Complete Set) signed by Civil Engineer/Architect 3. Bill of Materials and Cost Estimates 4. Lot Plan with Certification of a Geodetic Engineer that the proposed fence will not encroach on adjoining

properties. 5. Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) 6. Deed of Sale/Lease Contract/Contract to Sell (if the TCT is not in the name of the owner/applicant) 7. Updated Real Property Tax Declaration 8. Certificate of Real Property Tax Payment 9. Certification from City Assessors Office

DEMOLITION PERMIT This permit is secured prior to the systematic dismantling or destruction of a building or structure in whole or in part. Requirements:

1. Demolition Permit Form – signed by Civil Engineer/Architect

Aside from a Building Permit, the Office of the Building Officials/City Engineer’s Office issues other permits that are required before the renovation, construction or demolition of any structure.

Securing a Subdivision Permit

ABOUT THE SERVICE

UNDER BP 220 Subdivision Permit shall be secured prior to the development of a subdivision. This shall apply to the development of either a house and lot or a house or lot only. These rules and standards shall apply to the development of economic and socialized housing projects in the rural and urban areas.

REQUIREMENT(S) COMPLEX SUBDIVISION: I. PRELIMINARY APPROVAL AND LOCATIONAL CLEARANCE

1. Notarized application letter addressed to the Honorable Sangguniang Panlungsod

2. Three (3) sets of the following documents duly signed and sealed by Civil Engineer. a) Existing structural plan showing all existing structures in place. (b) Vicinity Map 3. Certified true copy of Title(s), Tax Declaration(s), Deed of Sale/Memorandum of Agreement if the Title is not

registered in the name of applicant) and Tax Receipts. 4. Certification as to Zoning Classification 5. Environmental Clearance Certificate

II. DEVELOPMENT PERMIT: A. SUBDIVISION 1. Notarized application letter address to the Honorable Sangguniang Panlungsod 2. Four (4) copies of the following documents duly signed and sealed by Licensed Engineer. a) Topographic Map of Site b) Site Development Plan c) Road (Geometric and Structural Design/Plan)

c.1. Profile showing the vertical control designed grade, curve elements and all information needed for construction.

c.2. Typical roadway section showing relative dimensions and slopes of pavement, gutters, sidewalks, shoulders, benching and others.

c.3. Details of roadway showing the designed thickness of pavement, sub grade treatment, and sub base course on the design analysis.

c.4. Details of roadway miscellaneous structures such as curb and gutter (barrier, mountable and drop slope protection wall and retaining wall if any).

d) Four (4) copies of Storm Drainage and Sewer System d.1. Profile showing the hydraulic gradient and properties of the main line including structures in relation in

the road grade line. d.2. Details of drainage and misc. structures such as various types of manholes, catch basin, inlets (curb,

gutter and drop) culverts and channel linings.

Typical roadway sections showing relative dimensions and slopes of pavement, gutters, sidewalks, shoulders benching and others. c.3. Details of roadway showing the required thickness of pavement, subgrade treatment and sub-base course on the design analysis. c.4. Details of roadway miscellaneous structures such as curb and gutter (barrier, mountable and drop slopes protection wall and retaining wall, if any)

d. Three (3) copies of Storm Drainage and Sewer Systems d.1. Profile showing the hydraulic gradients and properties of the main lines including structures in relation

with the road gradeline. d.2. Details of drainage and miscellaneous structures such as various types and manholes, catch basin intels (curb, gutter and drop), culverts and channel linings.

e. Three (3) copies of Water System Lay-out and Details f. Three (3) copies of Site Grading Plan

Two (2) sections ( cross and longitudinal) g. Bill of Materials, Cost Estimates and Specifications signed and sealed by Registered Engineer.

IV. APPLICATION FOR ALTERATION OF PLAN OF SUBDIVISION AND CONDOMINIUM / TOWNHOUSE

1. Four (4) copies of the plan showing the proposed alteration duly signed and sealed by a Licensed Architect/Engineer.

2. Letter stating the proposed/reason for the proposed alteration/conversion. 3. Sworn statement that the effected lots/units for alteration have not been sold. 4. Written Conformity of the duly organized homeowners association or in the absence thereof, majority of the

Application for Approval of Memorial Park/Cemetery Plan (Preliminary / Final / Alteration)

ABOUT THE SERVICE EVERY registered owner or developer of a parcel of land who wish to convert the same into a memorial park/cemetery shall apply with the HLURB by filing the following:

A. Preliminary Development Plan 1. Vicinity Map/Location Map 2. Site Development Plan/Scheme 3. Certified True Copy of Title/Survey Plan 4. Updated Tax Declaration

B. Final Approval 1. Site Development Plan, consisting of;

a. Lay-out of roads/right-of-way b. Plot boundaries numbers, lot, land area and block numbers c. Site data, lot land area, no. of saleable plans, typical plot size, areas allocated for roads and pathways

and other facilities and amenities. 2. Engineering plan; 3. Landscaping plan; 4. Topographic plan including;

5. Summary of Project Study 6. Certified True Copy of title or other evidence of ownership or intent to sell and authority to develop signed

a. Clearance/Permit from HLURB 1) Clearance stating that the memorial park/cemetery is not located on ground where
