Secure that disk!

Formatting a drive does not securely wipe it.

Deleting files do not securely remove them.

You are responsible for what a guest may have downloaded or left on your machine.

Boot up from Live Disto

Use one of these:

Dariks Boot and NukeUltimate Boot CD

Select Hard Disk tools on UBCD

Select Wiping Tools on UBCD

Select Darik’s Boot and Nuke on Ultimate Boot CD

This is the main screen

Command help

setup

Press P to select random fillpattern of ones and zeros

Press M to select the methodof wiping the disk

Press V to select if or how it will verify what is written to disk

Press R to select how many times it will repeat

Press f10 and watch it run

It will report as it is running

And you now have a blank disk!
