SUMMARYIP Gateway is a managed network-based gateway for Telstra’s IP WAN, IP MAN and Connect IP customers. Engineered as enterprise-grade security infrastructure, IP Gateway provides firewalling, content scanning and remote connectivity features.

A managed and hosted service, IP Gateway lets you avoid the expense of owning infrastructure. Or incurring separate costs for setting up and managing your own security appliances and associated licence fees. Instead, an affordable monthly fee makes budgeting simple and allows you to direct capital for better uses. You won’t have to manage several security products and vendors either so you’ll have more time to focus on business. Although we maintain the infrastructure, you still remain in control. You can easily configure firewall and content rules online, and view detailed reports to see threat levels and service performance.

IP Gateway also uses the inbuilt security measures of the Telstra Next IP® network combined with unique end-to-end network visibility monitored 24/7 from world-class operations centres.

Internet GatewayInternet Gateway provides a highly secure connection from your Telstra Next IP® network service to Telstra Internet Direct.

Extranet GatewayWith the ability to connect up to eight other virtual private networks, the Extranet Gateway lets you share information with other organisations that use our IP network. You can also use the Extranet Gateway to partition your network between different business units.

Other features include:•Managed Firewall. An enterprise grade

firewall provides high quality protection with superior network performance. A simple graphical user interface lets you easily finetune firewall policies via our online portal.

•Remote Connection. Give staff encrypted access to your corporate applications across the internet using IP Security tunnelling, or connect small remote branch offices using site-to-site Remote Connection. You can also use your Radius Server for authentication.

•Anti-virus and anti-spam. Automatically updated signatures provide comprehensive defence against internet-spread malware.

•Content Filtering. Control access to undesirable content from the Internet to reduce congestion and possible damage to your reputation. You can scan web traffic without specifying a proxy on the web browser and allocate defined Internet access rights to staff.

•Management Portal. Easily set policies for content control via a secure, online portal.

•Reporting. Online access to security summary reports gives you transparency of service performance.
