Before Test Day:

Delete / Uninstall ESSecureBrowser

If you already have an old Secure Browser installed, please follow the steps below to Delete / Uninstall secure browser:

1. Double-click on the folder where the secure browser is installed earlier to view the following screen.

2. Select both the files and Right-click to view the following options.


3. Click Move to Trash.

NOTE: Please ensure that Move to the trash bin is empty.


Search and Delete ESSecureBrowser – For older versions

In order to search and delete the earlier versions of ESSecureBrowser, please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Go to Applications.

2. Click on Applications.

3. In the Search field, enter ESSec. As you start typing the list of ES Secure Browser if installed earlier will be displayed.

4. Select the files and Right-click to select Move to Trash.


5. Right-click on the bin and select Empty Trash.

Please ensure that all the previous versions of ES Secure Browsers are uninstalled/move to the trash.

Also, please ensure that Move to the trash bin is empty.


1. Security and Privacy policy for MAC OS - OPTIONAL

Follow the steps below to unlock security and privacy policies to install ES Secure Browser

1. Click on the Apple menu on the top left corner. 2. Open System Preferences.

3. Open Security & Privacy.

4. Under General tab click on “Click the lock to make changes”


5. Enter the User Name and Password, these are system login credentials 6. Click on Unlock. The name appears by default.

7. Select “Anywhere” / “Mac App Store and identified developers” (since this is not signed app)

8. Move the Secure Browser app from the local folder to the Applications folder.


2. How to Install ES Secure Browser?

Follow the steps below to install ES Secure Browser:

1. Download the ES Secure Browser package in your MAC machine.

2. Double-click on ESsecureBrowser_2.2.dmg file to install in your machine.

3. Drag and drop the ESSecureBrowser icon to the right side to the Application folder

Now the Secure Browser is installed in your machine.

4. To confirm the secure browser is installed in the machine, click Go to select Applications.

5. Click Applications to view the following screen.

You can now see that ESSecureBrowser is installed.

6. Browse the test-taking URL and login with valid credentials to to view the following screen.


On Test Day:

1. Navigate to your mba.com My Account page and click the “Launch Exam” link. 2. Once you complete the check-in process, your Proctor will Start your exam. Please note

that you may see the following prompts:

Click Open ESSecureBrowser.

Click Open to view the following pop-up window

Enter your machine’s User name and Password and click OK to begin the test.

Note: Depending on what other applications are open, you may be asked to quit any open applications and/or restart your machine and try to launch the Secure Browser again.

Important Note: If you do not have the Secure Browser Installed prior to Test Day, this may result in you not being able to take your exam.
