Our Family Doctor :

Modern age is full of tension and worries. We find so many diseases takingplace suddenly.The family doctor is an urgent need of today’s society. Our familydoctor is Mr Bharatbhai Shah. He is our family doctor since 1986.

His clinic is nearthe Azad society. He is checking the patients with smiling face,talking about everyday incidents or the news paper items of current topics. Half ofour disease goes out from our body when he talk with us.

He is always busy but calm and cool in his temperament. He never becomesangry on anybody at any time. He takes reasonable charges as his fees. He sharesour feelings and takes care hopefully. He gives medicines, tablets and sometimesinjections, also prescribes medicines from the stores.

Really good doctors are boons to the society.

The last day at my school :It was 15th February, the last day at my school. There was a farewell function

for the students of standard tenth. Our principal, teachers and all the studentsgathered in the assembly hall. The hall was decorated with balloons and colourfulribbons.

The function began with short speeches by the tenth standard students. Eachof us spoke about the ten wonderful years we had spent in the school. In myspeech, I thanked the principal and the teachers for their guidance and for ev-erything they had done for us. As I spoke about the memories of the school, Iovercame with emotions. As I glanced around the hall, I saw tears ineverybody’s eyes.

Then our teachers spoke. They gave us some useful advice and wished usbright future. Finally our principal rose to speak. He laid stress on discipline,hard work and sincerity.

A morning walk :According to our Indian culture, it is a good and holy thing to begin any work in

The atmosphere in the morning is very pleasant. Everybody likes to go for awalk in the morning. While going for a walk in the morning, we feel cool breeze.Birds are chirping in the green trees which fill our heart with pleasure. Thetender sun-rays touch our body and we feel hat we are in the lap of nature. Thesunrays are caring hands as those of mother to her little child.

We find the people of all ages walking along the road. We see some people

My visit to a Hill station :Our life is full of anxieties and worries of different kind. We want a change

can find lots of green trees welcoming to us. A wide range of small hills coveredwith clouds gives a wonderful sight, Here we find beautiful temples, a sky bluecoloured lake with a series of boats. People talk and walk together.

Children are moving here and there in colourful clothes. People enjoyNATURE in its best forms here. The cool wind is blowing. People buy things,eatables toys from the local market. Fruits and flowers catch our eyes. Somepeople stay here for a couple of days. It is a thrilling, novel experience to be in ahill station.

(5) My idea of an Ideal student(points : God’s gift - brain - thinking ideas - life - valuable - success - student’slife - it is the first stage-ideal student - activities-reads - learns - good habits-anoble character)

My idea of a n Ideal student :Almighty, God has given us a great thing that is not the others have on this

planet. That is our ideas - thinking process. A man has a fertile brain. He makesuse of it and makes his life valuable, sucessful. Life without value and progress,is not full of ideas and ideals. Life is an attempt to reach an ideal. A studentshould therefore, have an ideal, I have my own ideas of an ideal student. I musttry to become an ideal student.

An ideal student is the light of his school and delight of his parents. He is afriend, philosopher and guide to his peers. He gets up before sunrise and takesexcercise, meditates to make his body and mind fit. He reads, learns and di-gests what he has learnt. He is punctual to a minute, regular in rules of life,simple in wearing, noble in thoughts an refined in behaviour. He always hasgood habits, builds up a noble character to reach his ideals.

He is having a smiling face. He has spring in his feet, sweetness in his tongueand spirit in his work.

Aren’t these ideas of an Ideal Student ?

At least one earthquake happens some where in the world everyday. On somedays there are many more, some earthquakes causes a great damage and loss of life,some are felt only as slight shudders of the ground; many more are not even felt at all.We know about them because they are shown on a seismograph - a delicate instrument which records movements of the ground. Many earthquakes happen under the sea andthey often cause great waves tsunamis. Tsunamis are taller than a house and they raceacross the sea one after the other at a high speed. Ships in their path many be wreckedand when the waves reach land, there may be flooding and enormous damage.
