Attendance ONLY in your Lab. No Attendance without the Lab coat or

Lab. tools Lab. Notes must be complete and

brought every section No drinking or eating in the Lab Mobiles should be turned to silent and

ONLY used in emergency with permission from your demonstrator

Please restrict yourself to your assigned seat (according to your number) and no moving around the section

It is a must to clean your microscope and place before leaving

This section will deal with :

A- Knowledge of Microscope

B- Preparation of Powder Sample

1-Add suitable amount of powder

2-Add few drops of mounting medium

3-Inlaid cover with 45°

Clear slide without air bubbles

Fixation of Slide using Glycerol.

4- Evaluation of Small Objects

Eyepiece magnification power :12x

Objective magnification power :10x ( low power) or 40x (high power)

Magnification power = 12×40 = 480 x

Magnification power= apparent length ̸ true length
