ORGANIZATION Chart
Smart Selection Network System Electronic Security Division organization
structure is designed by Process Teams (not by departments). These teams are supervised by the General Manager who runs the Overall Operations Management SSNS teams:
• Project Design & Pricing Team: General Manager, Design Engineer, Project
Supervisor
• Project Implementation Team: Project Supervisor & Engineers
• Quality Assurance Team : General Manager, Design Engineer
• Maintenance Team : Project supervisor & Engineers
• Administration Team - Accountant & Secretary
Project Design & Pricing Team
Each project starts by analyzing the project’s requirements. These requirements are discussed by the team members. Depending on its details, the project cost estimate is based on its specific design requirements. The project is designed to portray all the components needed and how they will be integrated as an integrated solution to the client. Project Implementation Team
Projects are implemented by the implementation team who is supervised by a project supervisor, whose main task is to follow-up on the installation requirements and prepare all shop drawings required for the execution of works according to set plans. The team’s scope of work covers the installation, operation and commissioning of solution installed
Quality Assurance Team
This team reviews all the project phases implemented and provides guidance for the implementation team based on the standards set for similar projects.
Maintenance Team (Preventive & On-Call)
Maintenance team takes care of after-sale follow-up on all on-going maintenance contracts. Management of this team is carried by an experienced team of engineers and technicians dedicated to carry out the assignments based on pre-defined schedules. This team offers customer service as a -24Hour service using mobiles & pages.
Administration Team
The Accounting Manager maintains standard accounting records and follows-up on the Accounts Receivables collection process. The Secretary, performs and maintains projects filing and clients correspondence.
Typical Project Phases
A key aspect of SSNS differentiation advantage over its competitors is the way it implements and supervises its projects.
Each project (new or maintenance) is: • Assigned a design team to design drawings on the computer that lays-out the
equipment needed to be installed. These shop drawings are communicated to the client’s project manager for review and approval
• Assigned project manager to supervise the field work using pre-defined check-
lists of the tasks to be done for similar projects. A detailed work-plan is set to
define the tasks assigned to the project implementation team
• Time estimated (weekly) using a time-report that is filled by each engineer-who is
assigned a rate to estimate the work done for each project. For each maintenance
contract, a service report is recorded that is updated into the client database for
project profitability analysis. This analysis helps in our job costing reports. These
reports are generated periodically out of this database for review by the General
Manager.
Each project (new or maintenance) is:
• Documented .For each project, project members document that difficulties that
face them in each task. This document helps build D&P database of the optimized
work plans and checklists for similar projects. This database forms the know-how
that differentiates D&P from its competitors
• Quality Assured. For each project, a continuous review is done on the team
members’ work by the quality assurance team supervised by the General Manager
• Periodically reviewed its progress with client’s project manager assigned.
We believe that open communication channels with clients helps us to gain better
support and earlier user acceptance.

MANAGEMENT APPROACH
SMART SELECTION NETWORK SYSTEM L.L.C. established an organizational structure to meet a diverse group of works and clients. Our organization is structured for efficiency and accountability in delivering quality work in a safe method.
SMART SELECTION NETWORK SYSTEM L.L.C. (SSNS) developed a management approach that ensures integrity in business execution from the corporate office to the site technician. We adopted the concept of centralized control with decentralized execution. This concept ensures accountability of the corporate leadership to deliver the management processes and procedures to the field, while placing responsibility and authority for execution in the hands of those executing the work.
We established standardized policies, procedures and processes (standard operating procedures) for all company divisions based on ISO 9001 principles to ensure uniformity and compliance in defining, scheduling, executing, inspecting, recording, monitoring, reporting and closing work task. Our standardized policies, procedures and processes (including forms) are controlled by our quality assurance division to ensure complete standardization of these documents that ensure every employee is performing to them same level of minimum standards on each project. Each divisional manager is responsible for the validity and conformance of their respective divisional policies, procedures and processes with respect to contract requirements. Any changes to these operating procedures are reviewed by our QA/QC division manager and approved by Smart Selection Network System’ head of operations before the changes are implemented.
Our model project organization forms the basic foundation for implementing all our
services in accordance with our standard operating procedures. With this foundation,
SSNS’s site-specific management will develop local operating procedures unique for
each contract to ensure compliance with the details of execution, client interface and
reporting. The site management team has the authority and responsibility for the effective
implementation of SSNS’s standard operating procedures and execution of the contract
work. The site management team will add and/or amend D&P’s standard operating
procedures to suit contract compliance; however, any substantial variation will be
reviewed by our QA/QC division and approved by our head of operations. These type
variances are handled expeditiously and usually on the spot, and do not interfere with
execution, but rather document and control variances to ensure contract compliance,
safety, security and environmental compliance.
Once SSNS is awarded a contract to perform, the head of operations forms a start-up team consisting of the key members that will receive the project hand-over and establish on-site operations. The team under the head of operations will typically consist of the following: Start-up Staff:
• Head of Operations
• Assigned project manager • Corporate QA/QC manager • Site QC/Safety supervisor • Hand-over supervisor • Help-desk supervisor • Human resources supervisor • Finance supervisor • Procurement supervisor This team reviews Smart Selection Network System’ technical and financial
proposals and the contract to validate the scope of services, compliance requirements, required start-up milestones, quality control requirements, site procedures, hand-over details, human resource mobilization, accounting structure, and subcontract and supplier requirements. This team, in concert with the client, establishes the initial timeline for project start-up and is responsible to guide the implementation of all SSNS’s operating procedures for the project.
SSNS’s Project Manager (or superintendent) is appointed by the Head of Operations
and the level of skill and experience is based on the complexity of the project, type services and facilities and the scope of work. The project manager is a key member of the project start-up and ultimately takes the lead in developing the start-up and implementation of the project based on direction from the head of operations. The project manager executes the following:
• Reviewing the client contract • Meeting with the client’s representative for coordination • Implementing SSNS’s Standard Operating Procedures • Orientating and integrating the start-up/execution team • Ensuring the site-specific quality control plan is developed and implemented
before execution phase • Guiding the execution process • Implementing the project management software system • Establishing soft services implementation schedules and resources • Meeting contract milestones for start-up and hand-over • Transition and execution.
Our head of operations and project manager (PM) schedules a meeting with the
client’s representative to discuss the planned hand-over, transition and start-up execution. During this meeting our project manager discusses the schedule of activities and any necessary interfaces with the Client and any existing services providers to ensure a smooth transition. At this meeting, SSNS’s PM will provide our preliminary program schedule for the program execution. In addition, our PM will discuss methods of communication, work space, lay-down and storage areas as well as access coordination.
The start-up execution team will be organized by the head of operations, assigned project
manager and human resources supervisor. The initial skill sets required for start-up and
execution will be prioritized by the head of operations and project manager, and the HR
manager will open requisitions for either reassignments from other jobs or new hires.
Employees will be vetted by qualification, experience and special skills. Emphasis will be
placed on obtaining those human resources needed at start-up, hand-over and transition to
full execution. HR will maintain a schedule of priorities of the resources by skill set to be
recruited and/or assigned to the project.
The QA/QC Corporate manager will nominate the project quality control/safety
supervisor and will be approved by the head of operations. The appointed project manager will assign the immediate task to review the contract scope of work, the corporate quality policy, safety procedures and forms, reporting requirements, and then develop site plans for quality control, health, safety and environmental operating procedures. The site plans will be based on the corporate standard operating procedures and will be tailored to any contract/site specific or unique requirements. Since the D&P Corporate QA/QC manager is involved with the start-up, immediate adjustments to the operating procedures can be attended to efficiently. The site quality control/safety supervisor will establish the types of work, frequencies, documentation and reporting actions required to ensure that quality control and safety is built into the work execution processes. The quality control/safety supervisor will monitor project work activities and also perform surveillance on our services and other client directed work.
Under the guidance of the project manager, our corporate QA/QC manager will oversee the project hand-over process to ensure the establishment of contract complaint services. This hand-over process is critical to ensure a quality end product and for future planning of services and facility operations & maintenance. The hand-over supervisor will identify to the project manager all facility assets, the condition of those assets and the present status of each asset. This will facilitate the initial uploading of the maintenance management software system as well as providing the initial resource requirements that may be needed.
The project manager will identify to the procurement supervisor any contract required foods, materials, parts, equipment, spares, and consumables needed to execute the program. The project manager will ensure that material requisitions are prepared to specify these items, and then approved by the head of operations. The approved material requisitions are sent to the procurement supervisor for the purchase of items based on the delivery time demand. The procurement supervisor will use our existing supplier database to source and procure the demands and coordinate delivery with the project management team, as required.
As the above activities are being molded into a team of solutions, SSNS will be
mobilizing resources for full execution of the program. As employees are brought into the team, they will receive our company orientation briefings, and then a detailed briefing on the specific project scope of work and their assigned responsibilities. This will include their role in the execution and hand-over and start-up activities.
At the completion of the project commissioning and hand-over, development of all site standard operating procedures and complying with all milestone schedules, SSNS will begin the transition to full execution of Services. For the Services scope of work, this will typically entail first executing catering and life support services while taking over the O&M functions. Concurrently with taking on these Services, SSNS will develop a Menu Plans, Services schedule and preventive maintenance schedule to ensure alignment with all activities. SSNS will also begin execution of any other Services required by the Client.
All soft services included in the scope of work will receive the same analysis as the project commissioning and start-up. Our preliminary program schedule will identify all activities and schedules for transition to execution of the soft services. Specifically, security activities and functions will be integrated with the electronic security operations to provide a joint approach to managing the site security and access, as well as responding to alarms and breaches. Janitorial and landscaping activities will be scheduled based on contract requirements and the hand-over and transition coordinated with the Client.
All milestones identified in the contract for execution, commissioning start-up
will be managed by the project manager with oversight from the head of operations. These milestones will either be loaded into a master preliminary program schedule or within our CAFM program for tracking to completion for full operational execution.
Smart Selection Network System’ Corporate division managers will be in
constant interface with their respective project managers to ensure the program implementation is operating smoothly, and will immediately resolve any impediments to full hand-over and transition to execution.

7.1:-Structured Cable System
Data Port Relocation
Should the need arise for additional
outlets or moves and changes be
required, then this work can be
quoted for at competitive rates
No job is too small.
Structured cabling
Cables come in a number of different categories
called "CAT" numbers. The most recently ratified
standard for voice and data cable is the CAT 5e
(where E stands for enhanced).
CAT 5e is capable of handling data transmission
rates of up to 200Mbps and the commercial building
standard has been appended
ToEIA/TIA568A5-.
Newer standards including CAT6 (capable of transmitting
data at 600 Mbps, for which the standard will be
EIA/TIA 568B) and CAT 7 (capable of running at
1000Mbps, yet to be officially standardized) are
being proposed but have not yet been officially ratified.
D&P data cabling recommends that you consider
network cablinginfrastructure of at least the CAT5e standard,
to ensure your computer network continues to meet your
needs well into the future
Cable Types
There are three main types of cable used in
structured cabling installations: UTP, ScTP
and fibre optic. Most computer networks are
cabled using UTP or 'unshielded twisted pair'
as it is a versatile product capable of supporting
most system and network protocols.
ScTP or 'screened twisted pair is used in place
of UTP in environments where there is high
ambient noise or electro-magnetic interference,
for example hospitals and military bases or government
type secure installations.
Fibre optic cable is used for high speed, high bandwidth
applications. Fibre cable is available in two formats,
singlemode, widely used in telephony and multimode
suitable for network communications. Multimode fibre
is capable of handling large bandwidth with high
speed data transmission and is compact and easy to install.
CAT6 Cabling
We provide a full data cabling service including CAT 6 , CAT5e and voice and data integration. If you require additional network points, or moves and changes, our service is second to none. Our engineers are highly qualified; they take pride in their work and complete installations with the minimum of disruption. We provide our customers the timely installation of their network system in accordance with the agreed project timescales, adhering at all times to current standards and procedures.
Fiber optic Optical fibres are now used in almost every
aspect of the communications network and are widely accepted as the ultimate structured cabling medium. SSNS Data Cabling can supply a full optical cabling solution, incorporating an extensive range of cable and connector types, supported by all the patch panels and other accessories necessary to effect a complete optical installation, whatever the intended application or environment. Fault finding and fibre splicing onto your existing cabling is one of the many services we offer.

Site surveys
Site surveys are conducted on all new installations and projects wherever
physically possible.
The survey enables the project managers and engineers to get a feel for the building into which they are installing the network cabling.
Factors which affect the installation methods in most buildings and locations include:
• Size
• Age
• Function
• Solid floors
• Solid ceilings
• Existing containment
Installation & testing
After your site survey has taken place SSNS will agree a convenient time for installation. You can be reassured that SSNS takes its health and safety responsibilities very seriously and complies with the very latest health and safety guidelines. Installations can be noisy if there is drilling involved, so SSNS will keep you informed of when this is likely to take place so any disruption is kept to an absolute minimum. Once installation is complete SSNS will test every part of the system to ensure that all the products are performing correctly. Performance certification is available should it be required. The cabling infrastructure installed by SSNS carries a warranty to protect customers from product defects or reduced system performance.
7.2:- CCTV System CCTV camera systems in Ireland have
become a standard requirement for more
and more businesses seeking to comply
with Health & Safety standards, avoid
product shrinkage and to protect
themselves from fraudulent insurance
claims.
Now, in the modern digital age, recording
systems can run for up to 90 days without
manual intervention and it is even possible
to capture and retain footage for up to 36 months with minimum intervention.
Remote CCTV Camera monitoring can include everything from power supply
status and equipment temperatures to alarms and CCTV cameras.
This can significantly reduce the costs of security for companies which have
traditionally relied on 24 hour on-site security personnel with monitored CCTV
Systems.
7.3:- SMATV System A system that uses mulitipale satellite and broadcast signal to creat a single integrated cable signal for distribution to a cabling network .
SMATV IF System :-
From the roof : First we have to position all satellite dish on the roof to receive quality signal.
Signal direction :-
Right after the satellite dish , IF signal should be amplified because of the weak signal we received from the satellite. Then the signal goes from the amplifier and to splitter which gives to four multiswitches.
LNB for offset parabolic antennas. The range consists of universal single, twin and quad LNBs for individual installations; and universal quattro LNBs for collective installations .
LNB SAT amplifier for 4, 8 or 16 polarities, for installations in cascade. For 16 polarities, two stacked amplifiers of 8 polarities are installed. Equipped with gain control and independent equalizer for each polarity. Requires the FU-513 power supply unit, from the NET power supply connector, to feed the amplifier and intermediate active multiswitches. To power the LNB, the FU-612 power supply unit is used.
MULTISWITCH
Power sources feeding LNBs, amplifiers and active multiswitches to obtain the total necessary current for all the elements of the Installation, including the LNBs.
POWER SUPPLY Tap-offs for terrestrial and satellite TV with two tap outputs which cover the 5 to 2,400 MHz frequencies. They distribute part of the input signal to their tap outputs and the main part of the signal continues to the output. The response of the tap outputs is flat, without
equalisation. Available in different tap-off TAP-OFF IF attenuation values. Final multiswitches for 12 polarities and terrestrial TV with 8, 12,16,20,24 and 32 outputs. The outputs are amplified in the satellite IF band. In the terrestrial band they can be configured to function in either active or passive mode. Need to be powered from each individual receiver so that the switching and the amplification of each derived output will function correctly. The external power supply units provide the required voltage to the LNBs for them
to function properly.
7.4:- Intercom System
An intercom system is a two-way communication electronic device that contains circuitry for the purpose of transmitting and receiving audio and/or video transmissions. With the advent of cellular communication, digital telephone systems, and other communication devices, the use of intercoms has declined. However, there are still lots of applications where these devices still work better than anything else.
There are a very wide variety of systems available as defined below:
Wireless Intercoms:
In applications where wires cannot be run,
a wireless system is used. There are a
broad spectrum of two-way wireless communication
devices that include such devices as handheld
radios, outdoor wireless callboxes, as well as
traditional desktop devices. The range these
units will transmit varies widely based on the
wireless technology used.
Wired Intercom Systems:
When you can run wires between locations,
a wired system can give you a little more
privacy and eliminate possible interference
from neighboring systems. There are different
wire types such as 2-wire shielded or Cat-5/6
that can be used with these systems.
If you are considering a video system,
a wired unit may be the best solution.
Video Intercom:
These typically have a unit that has a camera,
speaker, and a push button that goes at an
entrance door, and an internal monitor unit
that can communicate with the entrance unit.
Some systems can have multiple video
monitors internally. Given the difficulty of
sending video over the airwaves at very much
distance without interference, most available
units are wired.
Apartment Intercoms:
This type of system has a door unit at an
entrance door and then each apartment
or flat has either one or multiple units that
can speak to the door and possibly see the
visitor, or the door unit rings a landline or
cellular telephone number. A visitor simply
presses the correct button for the apartment
they want to speak to, and the tenant can
speak back and then press a button to
unlock the door.
Two-Way Radios:
While these are technically not intercoms,
there are two-way radios that communicate
with base station intercoms. So you can have
the flexibility of a mobile radio that communicates
over long distances mixed with the capability
a fixed intercom gives you.
7.5:- Access Control system
Our security experts can understand and build a perfect solution for your
requirements. The user-friendly designs make it simple to install, operate and
maintain.
Door panel
Access control is becoming increasingly
important to many businesses and
organizations – from hospitals and
colleges to retailers, offices and financial institutions. Access control employs a range
of tools: from swipe card and pin number access to the very latest biometrics.
Whatever the level of security and
accountability required, we can tailor systems to deliver optimum performance and value for
money.Physical access control is a matter of
whom, where, and when. An access control
system determines who is allowed to enter or
exit, where they are allowed to exit or enter,
and when they are allowed to enter or exit.
How Access control Works
Physical access control is a matter of
whom, where, and when. An access control system determines who is allowed to enter or exit, where they
are allowed to exit or enter, and when they are allowed to enter or exit.
Keypad Stand alone keypads allow access when a pre-determined code is typed
into it. When an authorised correct code is entered the door releases.
Magnetic Swipe Readers Magnetic swipe readers, when the card is swiped through the reader
the coded ID number is read from the magnetic strip on the card. If it is an authorised code number
the door is released. Proximity Readers
Proximity readers work by inducing a chip in the ID card or tag to transmit
its coded number and . If it is an authorised code number the door is released.
Biometric Readers Provides high speed secure access to
your offices and or restricted area. No need for cards or codes as they utilise, finger print, retinal scan or face recognition.
Door Controllers Door Controllers process the information
transmitted to them, log all the events, and store Groups, the name, the access times and all the other parameters that are
necessary to meet your requirements.
7.6:- PABX System
Voice Cabling
At SSNS we can install all aspects of voice cabling including full
distribution systems up to several hundred pair cables. We recommend however
that the distribution to your workstations be incorporated into your structured
cabling system, effectively running your telephone system over your CAT5
cabling, giving you total flexibility.
Voice Integration
We can integrate with your existing system to ensure it is fully compatible
with your new structured cabling. We will provide all necessary connecting cables
and adaptors.
7.7:- Gate Barrier Monitoring the access to your premises is
important, and gates and barriers play an important part in allowing access to your business area. Automatic gates and barriers
can ensure that only authorized visitors are entering the premises.
Apart from an ideal solution for controlling vehicle transit, Gate Barriers also play a
defining role in marking your territory and its clear boundary.
has a wide range of products in the entry control system category. Depending upon
the need and the ascension of degree of passage required, provides flap barriers swing gates for building access control and
gate barriers for parking access control.
