Hello everyone,

Well it’s been a brilliant week here in DPS. We are very proud of how the children have settled in to school. I have seen some fantastic work this week, in particular writing across the school. To keep the parents up to date we will be having some RWI phonics workshops. These will be week the beginning the 9th October and we will be sending more information about that next week. There will also be an Early Maths workshop early on in termlet 2 too. Just a few bits to note………. Up to Date Information By the end of next week we will have our emailing service up to date and a letter will be going out on Monday informing you of this service (as well as the text messaging service). Everything will then be emailed to you. There will always be a hard copy in the office too for those that prefer the information that way. To keep paperwork to a minimum we will also be sending home a blanket consent form too which we help to eliminate chasing up consent slips from busy mums and dads. PE Kits Please make sure your child has their PE kits in school all of the time just in case we do an impromptu PE or games lesson. We would not want anyone to miss out! Brunches For all children who have school brunches, your child’s own choice (A or B) will start on Monday. Please have a chat with your child/children over the weekend and remind them about which choice they have chosen. The menu is later on in this Grapevine. Buses Just a reminder that buses end on Friday!!
