own a website. You don’t have to deal with customers, refunds, invoicing, packaging

and shipping. How cool is that? In fact affiliate marketing is one of the easiest ways

to start earning an income online. It’s the quickest way to set up an online business

period.

Let’s just assume you are already an affiliate marketer and you’re now ready to take

your business to the next level. You are now looking for ways to increase your

affiliate commissions exponentially. What are the options available that will allow

you to do that?

Here are some proven strategies that will show you how to put your affiliate

program commissions earnings into overdrive:

Strategy #1. Promote only the best affiliate programs and products.

Use this strategy and you are almost guaranteed to earn the highest profits in the

fastest time. In fact, you can double or triple your income in a short period of time.

There are a few considerations before you can start using this strategy. Make sure t

choose affiliate programs that not only have a high commission structure but

products that fit with your target audience. The other consideration you need to take

into account is that the program has a credible reputation of paying their affiliates on

time. There are many affiliate programs who short change their affiliates when it

comes to payment. Make sure this does not happen to you. If you find that you are

not getting a good return on your investment, cut your losses and move on to

another more reliable affiliate program. Don’t waste your advertising dollars on

programs that don’t convert. A few good ones are Commission Junction, Click Bank,

JV Zoo, Link Share, Market Health, As Seen On PC, etc. . Clickbank products are

becoming harder to convert these days. You can start with JV Zoo. Their products

strategy here is to be unique or different by offering something of value that your

readers need.

It would be a good idea of provide valuable information in your free reports to keep

your readers engaged and increase their trust in you as an expert in your niche.

Here’s the cool tip – add your affiliate links wherever possible within the content of

the report. Remember, you have gained their trust and they are enjoying the

valuable information in your report, so now what’s stopping them from buying

Strategy#3 – Ask for higher commissions from vendors

This is a strategy you can use once you are getting steady sales. A lot of affiliates

do not know that they can request for higher commissions and so lose the potential

to increase their earnings! Most savvy merchants will not refuse your request.

Business minded folks know the value of a good marketer.

Strategy #4 – Pay Per Click Ads

The fastest way to drive traffic and increase sales if via Pay Per Click

Advertisements. Overture and Bing Ads are good platforms to start on. Google

Adwords is another but they do have more restrictions that Bing Ads or Overture.

The choice is yours. When you use PPC as a strategy, you must be able to write

effective ads that convert and of course split-test. Track your results and then tweak
