Volunteering in Russia: implementation of

English- speaking countries experience

The aim of the research is

to develop and formulate the main propositions that could be

used in Russian practice, based on the experience of

foreign colleagues

Steps:• To analyze the process of the volunteering

activity development in English- speaking countries.

• To analyze the process of the volunteering activity development in Russia.

• To research the current status of volunteering as a social movement in foreign countries.

• To research the current status of volunteering as a social movement in Russia.

The hypothesis to compare the development and current state

of the volunteering as a social movement and activity in Russia and foreign countries, thus

formulating the propositions, that may not only be used in our country, but also improve

the situation and bring new ideas to volunteering community in our city

• Working out a forecast

the history of the volunteering in

Volunteering is an altruistic activity, intended to

promote good or improve human quality of life

Summing upthe volunteering activity is becoming an

inevitable part of our everyday life, so we need to pay more attention to the

areas, where we can be useful for others. People don’t need our pity, they

need our help
