Join us on the second Sunday of each month

after both Masses for Breakfast!!

Second Sunday Breakfast March 9th

Come out and enjoy a great meal with friends! We will be

serving pancakes, farm-fresh eggs, fresh oven-

roasted potatoes, sausage, bacon, pastries, coffee, tea and juice.

Tickets available at the door:

Adults: $5.00 Children to age 12: $2.00 Families: $25.00

All proceeds benefit Mater Ecclesiae.

Looking for a simple yet powerful way to teach your children about pro-life work? Seeking a worthy cause for your Lenten almsgiving? Then be sure to pick up a baby bottle from one of our Knights of Columbus. Most long-time parishioners know how the program works: Keep the bottle in a conspicuous place in your home, adding cash to it as frequently as you can, or simply as a reminder of your intended donation and the pro-life cause. Return the bottle on Passion Sunday filled with cash or a check (payable to Mater Ecclesiae Knights of Columbus). Donations will be used to support the use of ultrasound equipment at a local pregnancy center. As reports have clearly shown, ultrasound pictures are one of the best ways for convincing couples to choose life for their babies rather than abort them.

Once again this year, the Diocesan Rice

Bowl Collection will take place after the conclusion of Lent. Operation Rice Bowl is the official Lenten Program of Catholic Relief Services. For 33 years, Operation

Rice Bowl has called participants to pray with their families; fast in

solidarity with those who hunger; learn about the challenges of poverty overseas, and give sacrificial contributions to those in need. Everyone is encouraged to put aside a sacrificial donation each week during Lent, and to bring that donation in at the conclusion of the season. Perhaps you can give up a cup of coffee, soda, or a snack and place the money you would have spent in an envelope to be given for the Rice Bowl Collection. Each sacrifice is an act of Charity that will benefit those who have so little and know real, physical hunger. Please be generous!
