In general, districts should not place students in non-approved private schools. Districts with students placed in private schools that have not been pre-approved should work with the school to get approval.

Approval Status:

Current – ODE received and approved an application for the school. Pending – ODE received, but has not yet approved an application for the school. Historical – ODE has received no application for the current school year, but this school has

been an approved private school in years past.

Schools not on this list may be pending approval. For more information, contact a member of the Special Education Data Team.

Please use caution when a school is marked as “Historical”; districts should not assume these schools have been approved and should work with the school to start and/or finish the application process.
