moment filled with infectious enthusiasm, palpable energy & the soaring spirits of the
young ignited minds to explore their true potentials. A plethora of activities astound
you, overwhelm you and leave you in awe because when young enthusiastic feisty
minds and effusive learners engage in riveting competitive spirit, it is nothing short of
sheer brilliance that is synonymous with this extravaganza.
Thus it is gratifying to invite the multi skilled and dexterous scholars to participate in
“Compufest” – 2016, the Techno Cultural Fest that aims at simulating and celebrating
computing, creativity and Information Technology. This saga of interschool
competitions assists to unfasten doors of imagination, to hone the intrinsic abilities of
the learners and demonstrate their inherent aptitude in diverse faculties. An array of
divergent genres ranging from Encrypt, Sway Spiel, 16 Frames, Earth Crusader,
Change Engage, Fan O Sekkei etc. shall prove to be the pedestal of success and provide
a spotlight, not only to ascertain their mettle but also act as tough competitors.

2. Reporting time for registration of participating teams is between 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
3. All participating teams to report in proper school uniform and must carry their school I-card.
4. At the time of registration each school will be allotted a “School Code” that will be taken as their identity for all events.
5. One student can participate in one event only.
6. Class groups regarding the events are to be strictly followed.
7. Specific rules and regulations are mentioned for each event.
8. Use of any unfair means is strictly prohibited and will lead to disqualification.
9. Decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Each entrant will design and build a boat or vessel out of aluminum foil.
Each contestant will receive one 12” by 12” piece of valuminum foil.
Standard copper pennies will be used for the load.vPennies will be provided by the host school.v
There are no construction specifications per se, except that the vessel should carry as many pennies as possible. Pennies will be dropped one-by-one onto the boat / vessel from a platform approximately 18” from the water’s surface.
Contestants will place their own boat into a tub of water.vContestants will drop one-by-one and count their own vpennies landing into their own boat until the boat sinks. Only pennies landing in the boat will be counted.
Contestants can only compete one time per day.v
Each potential winners’ penny count will be verified by the Contest Judges. Judges will have the final determination of the official count.

Make a wired or wireless remote controlled machine, which can play golf and put the ball in hole in minimum hits with in limited time.
The machine must fit within a box of dimensions 300 mm vX 300 mm X 300 mm (LXBXH) at the beginning of the game and during the game.
The external wired/wireless remote control used to vcontrol the machine is not included in this size constraint.
The on board power on the machine must fit within the afore vmentioned box.
Machine cannot be constructed using readymade Lego kits vor any readymade mechanism. But you can make use of readymade gear assemblies. Violating this clause will lead to the disqualification of the team.

Any amount of paper up to a maximum of 187 square vinches. (Note: This is equivalent to a standard sheet of 11x17 paper or two sheets of 8.5x11 paper). It is NOT required that the entire sheet be used and not essential that the entire airplane be folded from one piece of paper.
Participants are allowed to use tissue, newspaper, gift-vwrap, copier paper, aluminum foil, etc. NO corrugated cardboard, foam board, or poster board is allowed.
White glue and scotch tape. (To be used for adhesive vpurposes only. Masses of tape or glue are NOT to be used for added weight.)

Topic – Olympic Games. Including Ancient vOlympics and Winter Olympics
20 Questions from the Olympic Games will be asked. vAll teams are supposed to write the answers in the answer sheet provided.
6 highest scoring teams will qualify for the final round.v
The selected 6 teams will compete for the final round of vquiz in AV format
