DESCRIPTION
We're having an inaugural Holiday Door Decorating contest at the Center for Urban Transportation Research at the University of South Florida. I figured this was a good chance to avoid paper cuts and try out some new augmented reality technology. So, to see my virtual door decor you need to look through your mobile phone. Sean’s Virtual Door Decoration
Instructions to view using your phone:
1) Download “Aurasma” app on iPhone (Apple App Store) or Android (Google Play) • Shortcuts via QR codes below
2) Start app, tap on the triangle at the bottom of screen, then search for “CUTR”
3) Tap on “CUTR” record, then tap “Follow” and wait for “Auras” to load.
4) Tap on the “camera” icon in the bottom middle tray to return to the main camera view
5) Look through your phone at the door (takes about 5 sec)!
Setup
• Print out slides 1 and 2, and put them on your door with one above the other, as shown in slide 2 and in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAoTgPNp4-c
