Completing a JD Edwards upgrade from EnterpriseOne Xe to v9.0 with only four hours of business downtime is quite an accomplishment. Minimal Business ImpactAnother upgrade concern was downtime as users wouldn’t be able to access the system until after all data integrity checks were completed. The upgrade started on a Friday afternoon with the project team running pre upgrade reports, carrying out the upgrade and running post upgrade and variance reports to identify any data anomalies.
