Mrs. Ena Leiba, Principal Dear Parents and Students, We are in the middle of the cold and flu season. Illnesses like the flu (influenza) and colds are caused by viruses. The cold and flu usually spread from person to person when the inflected person coughs or sneezes. Last Friday a letter was distributed to all students about the best way to protect your family during flu season. Please review it with your child. Thank you to all who came out last night for our FSA Parent Information Night. This is an annual event we host to keep parents updated on FSA changes, testing schedule and provide parents with information and resources on how they can support at home. If you were unable to attend last night, please contact your child’s 3 rd -6 th grade teacher for information. Congratulations to Mr. Dan Bryan. Mr. Bryan was recognized on Wednesday at The King Center as our Adult Volunteer of the Year. We appreciate his hard work to make our campus a beautiful place to work and learn. As a quick reminder to parents, Monday, February 17, 2020 will serve as a hurricane make-up day. We will have school on that day. Please plan accordingly. Have a wonderful restful weekend! Solar Cooking….. Mrs. Trejo

is in need of the following:

Know anything about solar cooking? If you can teach a

teacher and several students to use solar ovens, please

contact me. I am looking for two (2) small, used, satellite

dishes. They will be turned in to solar cooking heaters. I

also am looking for an old grill that can be turned in to a

solar oven, to be used with the satellite dish. We hope to

compete at EnergyWhiz in Cocoa this April.

Winter Wonderland Dance . . . . Current 3rd – 6th grade students are invited to

attend Sea Park’s “Winter Wonderland Dance.”

When: Friday, February 14, 2020

Where: School Cafeteria

Time: 5:00 – 7:00 PM

Cost is $3 per child prepaid or $4 at the door.

***PREORDER pizza/drink will be offered – see

permission slip.***

Snacks/drinks and a photo booth will be available

for a small fee. Fourth grade parents can pre-

District pre-approved and fingerprinted volunteers are needed to come out to support and cheer on the
