SDF APPLICATION GUIDE

Building Professional Capabilities

Step 1: Type in www.skillsconnect.gov.sg to access the SkillsConnect page.

Step 2: Click to login using your SingPass.

Step 3: To login, type in your SingPass ID & SingPass and click “Submit".

Step 4: Click on “Participating Company”. Your company name should appear here.

Step 5: To apply for training grant, click on “Create Application”.

Step 6: Select “Yes” and click “Proceed”.

Step 7: Type in “Effective Outsource Networks” or simply “Effective” and click “Search to access EON courses.

Step 8: Select the different courses by flipping the pages.

Step 9: Once you have found the course(s) that you are interested in, click on the button beside the course name and click “Submit”.

Step 10: Click on the small calendar icon and select the appropriate dates in the calendar popup.

Step 11: Answer the 2 questions accordingly and click “Next” to proceed.

Step 12: Click “Add Trainee to List”.

Step 13: Fill in ALL of the trainee details and click “Add”.

Step 14: Trainee details should have been added. You can now click “Back” to go back to the Course Information page.

Step 15b: If you have a long list of trainees to add, click “Upload Trainee Details”.

Step 15a: If you still have a few trainees to add, click “Add Trainee to List” and repeat Steps 11-14.

Step 15c: Alternatively, you can click “Save” and submit the application later.

Step 15d: If you do not have any more trainees to add and are ready to submit your grant application, click “Next” to proceed.

Step 16: No action is required. Click “Next”.

Step 17: Make the necessary declarations by selecting either “Yes” or “No” and click “Next”.

Step 18: Select “Yes” and click “Submit”.

Note: Upon submitting, you will be given an application number.

Step 19: Write down the application number so that you can check with WDA your application status.
