My name is Vincent Smythe Teaching Artist from Sculpt-Ur-Tree for Life Foundation Inc. I am the

creator of The Lucky Bamboo Sculpture Tree Workshop is a fun filled art project that connects students/participants with nature using real branches, bamboo stalk and a real Lucky Bamboo Plant. It is

a three dimensional (3D) one-of-kind art project that depicts wildlife in nature with a real tropical plant in a very colorful and creative way. Participants will choose a pre-assembled unfinished tree sculpture

with a real bamboo stalk which is mounted to a wooden base of their choice and feel the essence of the naturalness of the real wood by touching, smelling and then creatively paint it using acrylic paints.

Everyone’s sculpture is different and opens a dialog of endless possibilities of what each sculpture will ultimately become.

What a great way to spend the afternoon or evening creating an exotic piece of art. The Lucky Bamboo Sculpture Tree stands from 10” to 15” inches tall as a tabletop stand-a-lone piece. After painting the

tree sculptures students/participants attach various small found objects such as: rocks, pebbles, and miniature species of birds, butterflies and insects to accessorize their artwork using hot glue and to top

it off they will add a 4” to 6” inch Real Lucky Bamboo Plant to complete their one-of-a-kind 3D tree sculpture. It’s a great art deco piece for the home or office and a handmade gift.

The Lucky Bamboo Sculpture Tree Workshop is a 2 hour fun filled art in nature project that includes Bamboo History Trivia about what each number of Bamboos represents and the pre-assembled Lucky

Bamboo Sculpture Tree kit along with the above mentioned accessories. All kits are handmade to order, manufactured and assembled by Sculpt-Ur-Tree for Life Foundation Inc. of West Palm Beach, Florida. Each kit comes with care instructions for the Lucky Bamboo Plant.
