The Scrum Master is responsible for leading an agile delivery team comprised of developers and quality analysts. The Scrum Master will work closely with the product owner to facilitate delivery of Revel’s product offering. This position will have a direct impact on our success by helping to create our next generation product suite. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor Scrum teams in the development and delivery of technology products Ensure the Scrum methodology is implemented effectively and provide coaching and training to maximize its benefits Organize and facilitate sprint and release planning, daily stand up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, demos and other meetings as needed Track and communicate team velocity and sprint progress within the agreed reporting framework Assist with product backlog maintenance and with making appropriate commitments to deliver business value through story selection, definition of tasks and estimation Participate proactively in developing and maintaining standards, tools and best practices Use knowledge of the business to assist the relevant Product Owner to prioritize requests in a timely manner Provide technical input on specifications for new development or enhancement to current systems Identify and remove impediments to progress Facilitate team discussion and conflict resolution Assist with the launch plan and oversee the coordinated roll out and deliver Deliver completed product backlog items to Production by the end of the spring to which they were committed Success Factors: Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization Understanding of healthcare systems and their application to customer needs Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the

Experience:

• Bachelors (BA or BS) with 3+ years experience working with Agile Teams • Experience playing the product owner role for at least two years for a software

development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory Practiced skills and knowledge of the Scrum and Kanban Agile approaches

• Experience presenting product direction and status to a variety of audiences • Applied understanding and execution of Agile Scrum ceremonies and processes
