An IGC Dorel brand

Please read this manual in its entirety before assembling the product and follow all instructions contained herein.

Please retain instruction manual for future reference.

Illustrations are representative only. Design and style may vary.

IMPORTANT: Before assembling this cot read and understand the instructions. Incorrect assembly

may make the cot unsafe.

Do not use this cot if any part is broken, torn or missing. Keep these instructions in a safe place for

future reference.

WARNING: MATTRESS SIZE This cot is made to use a mattress which is

710mm (wide) X 1070mm (long) X no more than 20mm (thick).

Using the wrong size mattress may create hazardous gaps that could result in suffocation or could

reduce the side height of the cot which may result in your child falling out from the cot.

Warnings These instructions detail the safe use, assembly and maintenance of your product:

• Follow manufacturer’s instructions at all times. Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result

in serious injury or death.

• Do not suspend strings, such as hood strings or pacifier cords, over a cot or attach strings to toys. String can wrap

around a child’s neck and choke them.

• To reduce the risks of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), pediatricians recommend healthy infants to be

placed on their backs to sleep – unless otherwise advised by your physician.

• Keep the cot clear of trailing cables or hanging cords.

• Never allow young children to play unsupervised in the vicinity of the cot.

• Only use the mattress supplied. Never use an extra mattress as this may cause a child to become trapped in the

gap between the extra mattress, and the side of the cot, and suffocate.

• Never leave children unattended.

• Do not leave anything in the cot such as toys that provide a foothold to enable the child to climb out.

• Do not use the cot near naked heat sources, bar heaters, open fires or exposed flames. Do not leave the

bassinette outdoors exposed to direct sunlight.

• Keep the cot clear of trailing cables and hanging cords.

• Keep medication and small items that a child could choke on away from the cot.

• Before using the cot please check and ensure all top rails are locked securely.

• Do not place more than one child in the cot at the same time.

• Do not try and move the cot while a child is in it.

• Keep your fingers clear from corner joints and any moving parts when opening or folding the cot.

• This product is not intended for commercial use.

• Use only those accessories which are supplied by IGC Dorel and approved for use with this cot.

• To avoid danger of suffocation, keep any plastic bags away from babies and children. Plastic bags can block nose

and mouth and prevent breathing. Bags are not toys.

The mattress thickness has been specified to ensure that the distance from the top of the mattress to

the top of the lowest side or end will always be at least 500mm. This will reduce the risk of the child

falling out. This portacot is for children who cannot climb out of the portacot, weigh less than 14kg,

and are less than 86cm tall.
