Here are screen shots on how I made my Double Page Spread

Backgrounda strong image of the band to show their attitude towards music and

direct address is used to get the reader’s attention.

Headlinethe headline purposely goes across both pages to create a sense of

dominance among the page and the red grabs the reader’s attention.

Standfirstthe standfirst introduces the article and breaks down the font.

Putting in the Articlethe article is the important part of the page and it is important it make it look

better than blank text, I used two different colours and bold text to give it depth.

Background for 3rd Pagethis image conveys music very blatantly and further shows the genre of music

which is Indie. It is also an image of a band member the article is about.

Putting in the rest of the Articleagain I used different colours for the font to give it range and the yellow makes the article stand up against the image which works to good effect.

The Drop Quotethe drop quote gives the reader something to read the article for and the use of

different colours makes it stand out more than it would with one colour.
